It had been a while since I’d been here. It was great to have the option to sit outdoors. Several tables outside. Of course there was plenty of inside seats too. I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon. The portions were significant. Unfortunately my eggs when brought out were cool. The bacon was ok. The food was very fair. Service was attentive. For the price, it should be better.
I ordered a Deli Platter ($200) for my birthday in late August for 10 people. This is not the first time I have ordered a platter there before. When I went to pick it up, they only gave me one loaf of Rye Bread for ten people. I asked for another loaf and the owner reluctantly after some nudging gave me ten slices from another pack and did not give me a whole extra loaf. I told him "come on" its my birthday and thought he was very cheap about it as I have been a long time customer....read full review
The deli has not changed, but the food and prices have. The corned beef was lean and tasteless, and the price was outrageous. Come on, $24 for half a sandwich and a cup (or bowl) of soup! $9 for a potato knish? The food and prices cause me to avoid Arts in the future.
