This is the Chipotle that you remember, but better. Good portions, fair prices, good atmosphere with it's pseudo Mayan brutalist aesthetic. The food feels healthy and refreshing, not overstuffed, but plenty to eat. Quality ingredients, fast service, they had to handle a fairly large order of meals from me for a group of friends and everything was just as ordered. A really nice spot.

10/28/25 New Review, they have some type of sewer issue. You can smell the gas as soon as you walk in. A friend told me this two weeks ago. Can’t imagine the health department would allow them to still serve with that issue. We did not order and left, spoke to the manager who had no timeline for a fix. Who knows what the real extent is.
Great food, little higher cost but quality is 100% home made tortillas are the only way! Will Definitely be back.

I stopped by this Loqui location with my wife to grab lunch. I been to their Woodland Hills location already so I already knew what I like. The plaza this place is in has limited parking and it can be tricky to find a spot so be aware.
When I came, they were not busy at all. I was able to place my order of their Spicy Garlic Shrimp bowl and I asked for no beans or guacamole. I asked for lettuce instead and should've asked for more rice too. My wife got their cheese quesadilla. They made our food quick and we dined inside. The Spicy Garlic Shrimp is amazing, flavorful and delicious. My wife like the cheese quesadilla she got as well.
The custom service here is amazing. They have indoor and outdoor seating at this location.

Shopping trip to Trader Joe's includes takeout from Loqui, best Mexican food in Studio City! My fave is the anchiote chicken in taco and in quesadilla form, yummy and not too spicy. Tacos and bowls to delight meat lovers and plant eaters as well. Small indoor seating and spacious outdoor dining with charming patio. Parking lot is challenging, especially with ongoing construction.
So glad I finally tried this place; I’ve heard great things. I love how fresh and seasoned everything is! Only drawback is I ordered a shrimp bowl with 1/2 chicken & extra shrimp assuming the chicken and shrimp would be mixed together and the extra shrimp on the side, but I got the chicken on the side so I couldn’t really gauge how different it’d be. But the food is great & packaging is lovely too. They have a cute outside patio here!

There was no line when I went at 3pm on Monday, and the guy taking my order was patient and friendly. I got a shrimp taco, a beef birria taco, and a lemonade.
Unfortunately the lemonade had an interesting mouthfeel that left my mouth feeling a bit oily. And I didn't find out until after I got home that they gave me a wrong taco - they gave me chicken instead of shrimp. It was still tasty, but not exactly what I wanted.
Overall the quality of the food is good so I might be back if I'm craving cleaner Mexican food. No drink next time though.

The Food: I chose the bowl with half shrimp & half beef. It's nice to try different proteins. Love love love the shrimp! Has a little bit of spicy kick. It was made to order, steaming hot when I opened my bowl. Definitely a complete meal and colorful too.
The Parking: Plaza parking lot. I got there when they just open at 11am. Parking easy!
I love they have both indoor & outdoor seating area. It will be super nice to sit outside in the cool evening.
