The Ventura Blvd. location is small but it is packed with a store team that cares about the individual unique experience of each patron visiting their location. They are Super Friendly. Let me tell you right now that you will most likely stand in a small line outside the shop because once you're inside you will want to sample several amazing flavors of ice cream that will make your taste buds dance. Once you've picked your flavor/flavors, you will have a choice to have a cup or cone. I chose a large waffle cone and cup. The Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge was super delicious. We also had the Arbequina Olive Oil, it was equally as good. Thank you for the perfect dessert to cap off our date night! Yum! #SaltandStraw #LAEats #TastingTheValley

Been here many times, and few other locations. Their ice cream uses fresh and premium ingredients. They have many good constant flavors, and monthly-seasonal ones that can range from experimental, unique, and wierd. Id say the biggest criticism is sometimes the texture and balance of their special flavors can miss the quality of their regular offerings. They are a great regional chain for a reason. Excellent ice cream but not quite the best in LA. That goes to Wanderlust.

The absolute best Ice cream spot with the sweetest staff. Walking in smells like what happiness feels like and tasting the new flavor samples is like riding a rollercoaster to the nostalgia of childhood. Thank you for the great experience! It's such a joy coming in here weekly!

Straightforward place to grab fancy ice cream. They have unique flavors that always pair well with their homemade waffle cones whose aroma you can smell a mile away and are irresistible as heck. Tonight I tried their seasonal flavor Pots of Gold & Rainbows, it's pretty sweet, which is exactly why I got it because I was craving marshmallows and ice cream. Delicious treat, I'd order it again. My usual is the Arbequina Olive Oil, which is basically a buttery ice cream infused with olive oil. Try it! It's surprisingly delicious. This Salt & Straw is basically designed for taken out; there is no indoor/outdoor seating except for one bench on the sidewalk. There's always a line out the door on Friday/weekend nights, but it's worth the wait. Service is always good, the employees are always willing to help and don't mind giving you multiple samples. Pricing is moderate, one single serving ice cream cup is about $6-$8. Parking: street parking on Ventura Blvd, which is metered (free past 6pm/free all day Sunday).

Good lord - such deliciousness!! It is rare not to see a line in the evening standing outside this tiny icy desert emporium waiting to gobble up some amazing Salt and Straw goodness - their unique and delicious ice cream lives up to the hype! Their knowledgable "ice cream - anistas" make you feel like the only people they have waited on - welcome and special - not rushy or impatient and their sample tastes are generous. Makes me sad for all the rest - cuz baby you're the best! Tonight - our pick was their seasonal Zombie Coconut with Pandan for the win win! Yum!! And yes ... of course we will be back!!

Soooo good. The whole store smells like crepes and sugar. I had the honey lavender in a waffle cone. I'm lactose intolerant but it was worth it!

Ice. Ream is good, but flavors are strange. It is very difficult to find a flavor that is appealing to me. The peanut butter brittle ice cream was very good.

Are you serious?? This is unlike any ice cream you have ever tasted in your life. Being from New Jersey, we have some of the best ice cream (especially in New York) but this place blows everything out of the water. Their seasonal flavors are unreal and full with flavor. I had the cinnamon snickerdoodle and Arbequina Olive Oil; an insane combination. The staff was attentive and was patient with me trying the flavors and seeing what I liked the most. Highly recommend to anyone in the area visiting or living!

First time here and it lived up to the word of mouth hype ! Even at 9:30pm on a Sunday evening there was a line outside but I only waited about 10 minutes. Prices were actually lower than some of their competitors and parking was easy - Bravo !
