The sweet & spicy chicken is INCREDIBLE. A lot of sauce but somehow still crispy. You will get messy but it’s worth it.

Their kimchi fried rice is to die for. The tofu soup and fried chicken is great too. But the kimchi fried is my favorite here!

TLDR: I will not be back. Went there on a Tuesday evening. Plenty of tables available. When we arrived, it took them a while to acknowledge us. The entire staff seemed busy so we kind of had to wait at the entrance for a bit then eventually, they welcomed us and let us know we could sit anywhere. So we sat down and waited like 7-8 mins (maybe even more tbh) trying to make eye contact with someone so we could at least get a menu or water, just something. The 2 men in the back had their head down, maybe they were preparing to-go orders, I'm not sure, and there was a teenager/young man at the register, taking an online order on the phone. Finally, after a few minutes, he hung up and we were able to make eye contact with him. He saw that we had been waiting for a while, then looked at the men behind the counters (his dad? His uncle? I don't know), he rolled his eyes at them, then angrily grabbed a menu and came to our table, apologizing for the wait and saying he thought [the man who greeted us] had already given us a menu. Then he left, without asking us if we wanted drinks. At that point, I didn't like the attitude and the blamey behavior, and the lack of customer service from the entire staff. We pushed the button at our table to let them know we were ready to order. The young man came back, took our order and asked if we wanted drinks. We asked for water. So he got water for us and it came in tiny glasses, not a bottle. And I was thirsty so I had to request water multiple times throughout dinner... While waiting for our food, an Ubereats Delivery man came to pick up on order. He had a dog and I saw the young man pet the dog and he did not even wash his hands afterwards. Then I see him grab our food and put it down on our table. And now I'm just thinking this kid is probably working there because it's a family-owned business and no one ever had proper training, who knows, but he didn't seem to want to be there and the whole dining experience was just awful overall. The food actually came fast, and heads up: there are no side dishes. Ddukkbokki 3.5/5 this dish had the right amount of spice but the rice cake was overcooked and way too soft. Soontofu 3.5/5 the beef was overcooked and too chewy but the rest was good. Sweet soy k-chicken was 5/5 when I first tried them at the restaurant. But I couldn't finish it so I brought some home and two of them were raw........ So even if they improve their customer service skills, I most likely still wouldn't come back since I didn't think the food was worth it.

Delicious food from a family ran restaurant! We thoroughly enjoyed the Japchae and bibimbop. I'll definitely be coming back for the yummy Korean food!

I've never felt so compelled to login and write a review. The food is disgusting. That's all you need to know.

So happy there's a Korean comfort food spot on this side of the valley! My boyfriend and I tried the tteobokki, side of seaweed rolls, and sweet and spicy chicken. Everything was super tasty. The seaweed rolls were a great addition to the tteobokki, and the sweet and spicy chicken was both crunchy and so flavorful. We overestimated the portions for 2 and got full fast but it could easily feed 3-4. Brought home the leftovers and it was still so good! Staff was very kind, and the ambiance was unique and comfortable. My only suggestion for them is to use bigger cups for water or leave a small pitcher at the table or self serve water. Food can be spicy delicious and having more water easily available at the table I imagine would be beneficial for both customers and staff. Parking is also in a small lot and we managed to snag the last spot. We're definitely going to keep coming back to this little gem and show our support!! Next time, I'll be trying their soups!

This is a little Studio City treasure. Went to check out the Korean Fried Chicken and stayed for the spicy beef soup. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the whole dining experience. The chicken was crunchy and well seasoned, the spicy beef soup was well seasoned and a perfect blend of soup, beef and noodles. Highly recommend and will definitely make this spot a regular on my dining out roster.

What a great value!! Being Korean myself, I was always disappointed by any restaurants outside of Koreatown. Especially here in the valley. This place is probably my favorite Korean restaurant out of Koreatown.

For such a small restaurant in a strip mall, this family owned Korean restaurant puts a good deal of love into their food and atmosphere. But if you’re looking for a proper dining experience, it’s too casual maybe. The food is excellent and wonderful for take away and cute for a relaxed meal with video screens. It’s authentic and delicious. They’re too small to have everything but great banchan and amazing chicken! Love their soup and boolgogi. And for sure don’t miss their kimchi pancakes.Kid-friendliness: It’s really perfect for kids. There’s enough to stimulate them and not stuffy enough to bother anyone. It’s roomy enough and great options for seating with ottomans, benches and chairs of course
