I came here on Saturday 9/30 for a family birthday party to celebrate. I am from out of town but the party was from LA.To start, the service was incredible, from our waitress to the bar tender. Both were attentive, helpful, and seemed to be having a good time for being at work as well! Best service in LA.The food was next level. I ordered the steak sandwich, wings, a hummus plate. All three were to perfection. My fiance got the sliders, which she loved as well. I also must mention how wonderful all the cocktails and drinks were.Lastly, the atmosphere was too much fun. From the dance floor, to the music, to the people. Shout out the couple that joined our party and danced with us!Overall,I just want to say thanks for an incredible place to visit and spend my night at.I hope to be back soon.

Words-cannot express how THANKFUL AND PROUD I feel for celebrating my special day at your venue last night. The food was amazing ( I wish I had packed the left overs lol), the music was awesome, the drinks were out of this world, and the service was perfect. Thank you for making my night special! The best and most hospitable staff, amazing home-cooked food (seriously, the sliders were out of this world), and the -best- house drinks, bar none. I stumbled upon this gem while looking for late night places that actually ascribed to the hours they had posted on a Friday night (after negative experiences with olive and grill which closed around midnight tho they were open til 2am, and a half-full pub nearby). But ending the night here made it the adventure worth it. Management and staff were SO gracious and accommodating and were genuinely glad to be of service. Not exaggerating when I say that everyone there felt like family on my first visit, and I can’t wait to come back.

Well, after reading all the positive reviews about Serra's I was really looking forward to attending my best friend's birthday celebration there. Yes, sure enough, there was a dance floor but not a very big one. It's pretty much your typical (older) bar with the cement flooring and dancing area with small tables and chairs surrounding it. Overall, I'd give it a 5 on a 1-10 scale for appearance. No ambiance to speak of. It was uncomfortably "stuffy" and hot. I was not dancing and while simply sitting at the table I broke a sweat. I asked the server if she could turn down the air and she was very rude. She yelled, "what do you want me to do!" And walked away from me. Apparently, this individual had quite the same reputation among my other friends there that night as well. I purchased a drink from the bar and..;...again, I was served by the same mean lady. I ordered 2 shots of Kettle One Vodka, chilled, with lime in a glass. She gave me 1 shot of Kettle One Vodka in a shot glass. When I explained to her, again, what I wanted she raised her voice and said, "what is it that you want? Be clear!" This lady was beyond rude with the manner in which she addressed me. Given the expression on her face and the tone in her voice she was very obviously very annoyed. To say the least, it was pretty uncomfortable. Ok, here's my grand finale.....2 shots of Kettle One Vodka cost me $32!!! $16 for a single shot of Vodka! I don't think I would recommend this place.
