Good place. Food was actually very good, everybody liked what they ordered. The problem was with the length of wait. While they started bringing food fairly fast, the last person (family of 6) got their food 55 minutes after the order, and that person just happened to be the hungriest on that day. They were bringing one dish at a time 7-10 minutes apart. If you don't mind the wait, the food is great.

I just wanted to let you know about my terrible experience at Studio Sushi. Honestly, it was the worst food I’ve ever had. The dishes I was served were rotten and clearly old. It was disgusting and made me really worried for my health.
The place itself was just as bad. There were dish trays outside that were full of mold and dirt, which is gross and totally unsanitary. The furniture is falling apart, and it’s not a place I’d want to sit in again.
On top of that, the customer service was terrible. No one seemed to care or try to help when I brought up these issues. The management clearly isn’t doing their job to keep things clean and safe.
Overall, I was very disappointed and won’t be coming back. I hope you take these issues seriously and make some real improvements.

An excellent and convenient lunch choice for employees of Radford Studio Center directly across the street. Tucked away just north of Ventura Blvd, this sushi spot avoids a lot of the traffic and parking hassles of nearby restaurants on the main drag. Food is always fresh, and they have generous portion sizes. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been here a few times, and really wanted to like it because of the good word about it. But the nigiri (toro) was very chewy, I had to spit most of it out. I ordered the crispy rice rolls and the tuna on top was soggy and the rice had lint strings on it on both the top and bottom. The Philadelphia roll fish wasn’t fresh.

First time here. Got great reviews so thought we'd try. I think they were having a very off night. The service was not great. Nice people but multiple problems: Brought wrong food to our table; served us flat sodas because something was wrong with their carbonation machine; never brought out one of our rolls. It almost felt like this was a new restaurant that was still figuring itself out. Very young staff, many of whom seems new or like they didn't know what they were doing. Food was good but portions were small. We most likely will stick to our regular sushi places.
