Perfectly tucked away all by its private self with plenty of guest parking. The outside courtyard is extremely quaint with its string lighting, beautifully lush trees & vegetation, and fire pit with bench seating. Inside, the restaurant presents itself like a home away from home, complete with cute photos of farm animals which ordain the walls to remind you why you're about to eat VEGAN food. Every server conducts themselves with both a professionalism and passion for their career which is obvious to see right off the bat. The menu is HUGE and caters to everything you may be in the mood for, and includes an ALL DAY breakfast menu which boasts arguably the greatest dish on the menu - The Breakfast Sandwich. If you've had it you know why I say that; if you haven't, have it. They service all types of cuisine - from French American to Italian to Japanese (including sushi and ramen!) to Mexican and even Greek/middle eastern. The drink menu is EXTENSIVE and includes freshly made smoothies and juices - sweet drinks which are topped only by their sweet treat desserts.
Cupcakes, fresh/warm brownie sundaes, cheesecakes...it's all at your disposal and all wonderful. Jack has been our server several times and has always been an absolute pleasure.

I recently visited SunCafe Organic in Los Angeles for breakfast and ordered the French toast with cinnamon apples. The dish was delightful! The French toast was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside—and the cinnamon apples added a warm, comforting touch. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the food here, and the quality was top-notch.
I arrived right when the cafe opened on a Saturday morning and was the only customer during the first hour. While this made for a quiet and peaceful experience, I was surprised that the service wasn’t more attentive given how slow it was. The server never checked on me after I received my food, which was a bit disappointing. A quick check-in to see if I needed anything would have elevated the experience.
That said, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the menu offers a wide variety of creative, organic options. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone seeking delicious plant-based dishes. With just a little improvement in service, this place could easily be a five-star experience!

We love Suncafe. Been coming for years— it’s also a gorgeous restaurant. Lots of seating. All vegan. But if they’ve introduced non/vegan items which I’m pretty sure they are, that’s a bummer. I would knock down some stars if i was sure. Tonight we had the most amazing service for a take out order with the English blonde host/server who was absolutely amazing.

Love this place. After reading some of the reviews about the menu possibly going partially non-vegan, The server assured us that this has not been done yet. He likely will not be done because of all the negative backlash. The new owners are not vegan themselves but they value the clientele which has emphatically requested the place be 100% vegan. So please continue to make comments to the management about this, So we can support this establishment. Another great meal with great service.
Parking: Be careful where you park as it requires that the car's next to you be adept at backing out.

Very, very good food. Very confusing about their vegan status? They made an Instagram post saying that they are introducing non vegan food which I only saw after dining there, but then when I call they say they are all vegan? There’s also nothing on their website about non vegan food???

I bring friends here whenever they visit because it’s one of the best vegan menus and atmospheres in the Valley. The nachos are incredible every time.
Love having a menu where it’s incredibly tough to make a decision! That’s me when it comes to vegan/gluten free options made from whole foods, not fake stuff. Parking lot was full at 1pm on a Tues, but plenty of metered street parking. Nice to sit outside, tho I wish there were spots with sun (I’m sure most of the year shade is preferred.) Having seen the dessert case going to the bathroom, I chose to go light on my meal and save room. Good thing! The cheesecakes are super rich. A definite treat. Wish I was local and could try more of the menu. Scrolling through their Instagram account was how I made my decision, and I greatly enjoyed the Dynamite Roll!

This is one of our favourite places in LA. The reuben was absolutely amazing. The sauce to the lentil loaf was too sweet, although fries were delicious. The cauliflower the first night was fantastic and not deep fried which made it for us. The “fun guy” smoothie was fantastic, the “benedict” for breakfast was really good but it didn’t have a replacement egg which was a first for me with a benny. I ordered the breakfast sandwich too which was awesome, and the hash brown just yum 🤤
