For $27.30, you'd think the SunCafe breakfast plate would be huge in portion and taste. It was neither.
The menu says 3 pieces of BeLeaf bacon. We got 2 "squares" as if they cut the bacon strips in half.
We asked for crispy hash browns, we got a light dusting of crust on the top, raw in the bottom.
This was a takeout order so, when I called back to request a partial refund for the plate, the gal offered a partial credit on a future order. I said that the meal was horrible and way overpriced and asked for a partial refund. She refused.
I then asked to speak to a manager. She put me on hold and then hung up. I called back and she said that there was no manager on duty, she didn't know when one would be on-site and, becoming increasingly agitated, told me to contact the owners and hung up.
I'm not thrilled that they added meat/dairy to their menu but still support plant-based options. And they used to have outstanding food and service. This place has gone way downhill and we will not be returning. Ever.

Best vegan nachos on the planet....ACTUALLY they're better than non-vegan nachos and I'm not kidding..... I had they're tacos today. Their grill cheese, Mac and cheese and BLT were all really good too.
My advice is to share a large nacho with 🍷 wine with a friend then see what's on the dessert menu....YUMMY STUFF!! Enjoy👏👏

food was great, loved the variety. our server was sweet and patient with all of our questions. however, i could not get over the BLARING music that they were playing. i felt like i had to yell just to talk to my friend. i asked our server if they could turn it down a bit, poor thing said they don’t even have the ability to. whoever is running this place please please please consider turning the music down. love the food but could barely relax

best vegan food i’ve ever had, new vegetarian menu is phenomenal too. been coming here for like two years now on and off and have always had a wonderful time, the avocado toast is the best avocado toast i’ve ever had & honestly everything in the menu is amazing and always perfectly done. the atmosphere is always cozy/nice & the team of staff they have are extremely friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu. super great vibe & food!

We went over the weekend and were surprised to learn they have added a separate Vegetarian menu. The waitress said they did it about 6 months ago. While that was surprising since we knew Suncafe to be an all plant based restaurant, the most alarming part was they included fish on their Vegetarian option menu! In what Universe is offering fish, vegetarian?? Please correct this error immediately. It's bad enough that some sectors of the public are confused about what is Vegetarian and what isn't, but, you should know better. I am happy to go back and update my review once that correction is made.

This place was amazing! The best vegan Florentine I have ever had. I did not even notice that they had a separate menu with fish dishes. Would eat there again.

I love Sun Cafe. Lovely wait staff. Jack is always very nice and attentive, as is Kaylenn. Great food. Quality ingredients. I never feel gross or bloated when I walk out of there.

I wanted to like this place more but a few things let it down. The restaurant is really great as you walk in nice and luscious we were really surprised. Sadly the service was not great and just basics were not there. I feel we got unlucky as a second server was really on the ball. Portions were big the burger was great. Pasta dish was dry and no flavour.
