I was riding by on my bike and liked how this place looked with a cool sign and logo. The large dining area only had a few customers and I was served promptly. It has a nice upscale look and prices are reasonable($20 for shrimp pad thai). My portion was smaller than average with no sides included losing this restaurant one star. Recommended.

OMG the best Thai we have eaten. We are visiting from Australia and found this amazing restaurant by chance. The food was so delicious and the service was amazing. 5 stars!!!

This is the worst experience I've ever had. I made reservations for 4 guests. When I arrived with my two children I informed the person at the front desk who is also the one of two waiters in the entire restaurant that it will only be the 3 of us since my husband is sick and couldn't make it. He said no problem please wait 10-15 mins. Event though our reservations were at 7:15pm we were waiting for 20 minutes - then the same waiter who I spoke to when we first arrived after we got seated and said "sorry we can't seat you " you had reserved for 4 guests and will need leave " I said " but I informed you when we walked in and what difference does it make the three of us are here " he said sorry you have to leave" My children (7 and 9) kept asking "mommy why did they ask us to leave" when I informed the waiter I will be posting a yelp review he then said "if I let you stay will you please not write the review ? He is a tall older gentleman with glasses. I will never go back to this restaurant - and the service is horrible - the other guests (almost 3 large tables) were just waiting for their food and also complaining their food had not arrived yet"

I'd give Talesai 6 stars if I could. Not only do they have the most incredible food but they also have the loveliest owners! Try to eat in the restaurant if you can and enjoy the space/ambiance for yourself.

Unjustifiably small portions for the price. I ordered takeout and was totally shocked by the tiny and featherlight bag I received. I was sure half the order was missing but nope. Dishes that are typically served with rice at other Thai restaurants aren’t at talesai. Both the yellow curry and the cashew chicken containers were under filled and underwhelming. We’re spoiled for choice when it comes to Thai restaurants so this will not be a repeat.

Went for dinner on a weeknight and the place was nearly empty with only one employee serving. The food was good but not award winning. I know that this restaurant has been around for decades but in my opinion, it is well past its prime. Would not go back.

The service was prompt and the server was very nice. I loved the Pad Thai with chicken - felt very much like my favorite comfort food. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoy Takesai. The food is delicious, the ambience clean and welcoming and the service great. We especially enjoy the Spicy Beef salad, the me Krob and the red chicken curry. Lots of other things are delicious too.
