The guacamole is incredible and it melts right onto the chip. I also love the quesadillas and the sandwich with chorizo!!! very friendly service and the guy behind the counter was awfully cool. I heard they have another business and they have two locations but I don't know where exactly the other one is. Please check it out and give it some love if you're ever in the area or at the studio right next to it for dancing. Dr. Dre has been there!!!

Rachel Ray Mexican food, red salsa isnt spicy, green salsa es puro tomatillo y limon. I shouldve known when I had to ask for no lettuce or sour cream in my burrito. Chips were pretty good

Fresh, fast, delicious tacos and burritos in a low-key setting, great spot for lunch with friends.

Love this place! When I think about good Mexican food, I honestly don't think Studio City, but this place has delicious and authentic Mexican food.

Pretty solid Tex-Mex fare. Got the enchiladas and loved them. A bit on the pricey side though, especially some of the sides. Definitely going back here for some old school American style Mexican cravings.

I’ve never been so angry and disgusted. I’ve been going to this restaurant with my family for eight years. It’s right next to a popular business that my daughter frequents. I parked my car in handicapped because I have a legal blue placard from back surgery. We live a 1.5 hrs from LA so we always make a little plan. The plan yesterday was for my daughter to take a dance class then go to this restaurant and eat then go back and take another dance class. When we came back to my daughter’s car, her car was gone because this restaurant had her car towed out of handicap parking. Again, I have eaten at this restaurant in the last 8 years at least 50 times. I came inside Tere’s, scared & worried thinking someone had stolen my car. Thankfully my daughter speaks Spanish and she heard the employees making fun of us laughing!! In English the employees told me they spoke to the owner who had intentionally had our car towed. I’m someone that is loyal. I frequent the restaurant because it’s convenient and I’ve been loyal to the owner, quite honestly, the food isn’t even very good. Their meats are pretty dry. But I will never step foot in their establishment again, and I will be posting in social media the horrible experience.!!!

Every kitchen has bad apples. And every kitchen has bad days. Before coming inhere to write this review, a long deserved one, BTW, I went and read all the bad reviews. Because, as a Chef, I know we work hard enough for the good reviews. 5 star reviews are all great, and always well received. But bad reviews are the ones we care about. "What was wrong. And how do we fix it?" I believe there are about 3 complaints here about Tere's being "closed". Now, those I can totally understand. We have been here for dinner a few times now. My wife says 4. I believe there have been more. I'm gonna go with 4. The staff is always approachable and friendly. The food is always, in my experience, fresh, very tasty, very clean tasting. Never greasy. Textures are always on point. I always clean the plate. The prices are good. The ambiance is perfect. And , to me, the framed picture of Chespirito in his El Chavo costume is the upmost stamp of approval. Gracias, Tere. Que disfrute sus Oreos.

My family's usual Mexican spot for delivery was closed, so we opted for Tere's instead. I am so glad we did! Our order consisted of chicken tostada salads, machaca con juevos, carne asada, and chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Everything was fresh and delicious, including the tortillas that came with the machaca and carne asada. All directions for special requests were followed correctly. We will definitely be ordering from Tere's again.

Just had the chicken enchiladas and it was bland made with salsa from a can. The rice was reheated and the beans were cold for $18!!!This place used to have some good enchiladas for less money. If you're craving enchiladas do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Also, no chips and salsa with your order :( this place is a rip off!

Quite possibly the worst Mexican food we've ever had. We really tried to enjoy our meals but everything was bad... even the chips were bad. Luckily, the staff was very friendly and efficient and that's all that is preventing me from leaving a 1-star review... Food: - Shrimp Taco: salty, tasteless aside from... salt. - Fish Ceviche: the portion was great but the fish was awful. The fish was tough and chewy. It was served with the gross chips they serve. There's nothing that could mask this dish. - Chicken Taquitos: overcooked, chewy, tasteless chicken. My wife asked for double rice instead of beans since Spanish rice is her favorite but the rice was bland. Zero flavor. The water tasted great though! I leave a ton of 4 or 5 star reviews and rarely leave bad ones so it has to be pretty disappointing for me to leave only 3 stars. Unfortunately, I don't believe this was an off night because everything was terrible. If this is a good spot to you, then you must love McDonald's cheeseburgers, Pizza Hut pizza and consider KFC a delicacy.
