Terre E Mare is hands down the best hidden gem in studio city/sherman oaks. The food is always fantastic and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Went last night to celebrate my son's birthday. Service was great, food was fantastic. Even to the point, one of our guests did not have a good portion of the lobster dish and the waiter and staff took care of that without any problem. Will be back.

Great neighborhood place. Visiting/staying near Universal and wanted a nice dinner with family. Food was terrific. Service was amazing. Pictures don't do justice how cozy the dining room is. Classic, solid, upscale food in an inviting setting.

Food tasted really bland. The octopus appetizer was one of the worst appetizer dishes I've ever had. Octopus tasted too salty and dry.

The food and ambience were absolutely amazing. Wonderful, authentic pasta. Delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The ambience and the service were good but my pork chop was overcooked and very hard. I should have returned it but I decided not to. I think they should have asked me how I wanted it. It was definitely well done and hard

My fiance and I went for the Valentines dinner yesterday. When we made the reservation, we were not notified that it would be a set menu. The restaurant the day of gave us a call that it would be a set menu, but we still decided to go. The service was awful, they came to our table to give us our appetizer for the second time instead of our second course. We waited for another 20 minutes to get the second course and by then I was so hungry I got a headache. We asked for our desert to go, waited another 20 minutes, we got our dessert smashed along with another tables leftovers. This experience was definitely not worth 100 dollars per person. Would not recommend. The only reason I gave it a two star was because the short rib second course was good.

Pork chop was overcooked, pasta was undercooked, too al dente. Drinks were ok. Staff was attentive, friendly and professional. Overall left unimpressed

Bottomline, we can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes. We were celebrating our 26th year anniversary and wanted to try something new. We learned Terra E Mare was relatively new since it opened its doors just during the pandemic. Although coincidentally they also had their quarterly curated wine tasting dinner night, there was still much parking available in their private lot as well as on Ventura Blvd.
We were greaciously greeted and seated almost immediately considering how busy the staff was. Our server Suzy gave us some impeccable dinner suggestions. Everything we ordered was to our delight. The calamari appetizer on a bed of spinach was beautiful as well as delicious. Our salad was simple in ingredients but had a well-rounded flavor and texture experience. The entrees were created to perfection, the signature ‘Terra e Mare’ (Surf & Turf) was surved on a board as well as the lobster pasta dish. We finished the meal with their tiramisu which paired well with a 10 year port wine.
Upon leaving, the owner, Steve, graciously thanked us for visiting. We won’t be hesitating to bring our friends our family here next time since their private terrace area was quiet enough despite it facing Ventura Blvd. Please note, although it is an outside patio, it is still air conditioned and has outdoor heaters.

Unfortunately the timing of courses from the kitchen was off, we got our appetizers and mains at the same time. The food however was extremely good. Everyone at our table enjoyed the meats and fishes chosen and all was cooked perfectly. I hope when we return they will have sorted the timing issues out.

The food was very good. All 4 of us enjoyed our dinners. The service was outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Even though they were very crowded, we felt well looked after. We all had an excellent experience.

We sat on the patio where we were the only patrons. No music! No noise! So perfect. Our server was incredibly pleasant and attentive, yet not overly intruder. The food was good and plated in an appetizing way.

We were seated promptly at 6:30 and service was flawless despite the fact that virtually every other table filled up at about the same time. Excellent food. Only issue was that a slice of Grapefruit which was not mentioned on the cocktail menu was in my cocktail. Like lots of seniors, I must avoid grapefruit because it interacts with Statins. They cheerfully took it off the bill and replaced it with another cocktail.
