Overall we had a great experience- friendly staff and our pasta dishes were awesome. For homemade pasta and the portion - I felt the price was what I'd expect. I have to say that the charcuterie was wildly disappointing. We paid more for a charcuterie board for 2 ($33) than our pasta ($28) - and there was ONE slice of prosciutto, 3ish very thin slices of a salami, and 2 more slim/small pieces of another meat. 6 small triangles of cheese, the equivalent of maybe one dried apricot diced in odd small pieces, and two tiny pieces of crostini bread. There was also 2 small ramekins of jam and honey - way more than we'd ever need for the amount of food on the board. Again - pasta was amazing. Either the charcuterie needs to be bulked up or price needs to be adjusted.

The food was good - not exceptional, but good. However, this restaurant is grossly overpriced and the portions are very small. The steak was very good quality and perfectly cooked. The linguine with clams was average, the clams were small, and the portion would have been just right for a child. The staff was welcoming and reasonably attentive, and the decor was typical for an Italian restaurant. They have a parking lot behind the restaurant which is a big plus for that area. The drinks are on the high side ($15 for an Irish Coffee) and nothing fancy. All in all, it is an average restaurant which is high-priced (properly rated $$$) and, when looking at value, it is lacking. I just don't see this business surviving long term even in relatively affluent areas such as Studio City or Sherman Oaks. While its aspirations are to be a high- priced boutique restaurant, it has to accomplish significantly more with the food, and particularly the portions, if its going to develop any kind of reputation or local following. It has a way to go before I would recommend it. Merritt Weisinger Sparks, NV

Super Disappointing! Dined here with family and overall found the food lacking flavor, service poor and to top it off we literally found a decent sized rock in our seafood dish!! Was able to try several dishes as there were 6 of us. Nothing stood out and much of it was lacking flavor. Beef tartar-lacking flavor & salt Chilean sea bass-over cooked and not that flavorful Risotto- fine, nothing special 20% tip was added for 4 adults & 2 kids and honestly the service wasn't very good. When I asked our waiter to tell me the differ between the two different sea bass dishes on the menu he said -I don't know I haven't tried i

So in all fairness, the food is pretty good here. However, I feel the price is a little steep. I'm not one to typically review a resturant but paying $10 for 5 bites of chicken has just rubbed me the wrong way. It's not the money, more the principal. Also, the staff is a bit hit or miss. Some are great, and some seem to have a chip on their shoulder.

I love this place! Last night our dinner wasn't quite as good as past experiences. Service was very slow and it seemed like we had been forgotten. The appetizers were also very mediocre. Burrata salad lacked flavor and the smoked salmon bruschetta was only okay. They were both served with bread that tasted like very dry toast.

the valentines dinner was fixed menu and the food was quite good, unfortunately our waiter was terrible. He came to our table when we were there for over 90 minutes and asked if we had the second course yet. We had had it more than 30 min before. After another 20 minutes we stopped our waiter and asked him if we could get out 3rd course wrapped up to go as we were closing in on 2 hours and the people around us (whom had arrived later) already had finished their meal. The waiter immediately scurried and brought us our 3rd course not wrapped, I guess to convince us to eat it there. We had to insist that he wrap it up. We got our food right at 2 hours sitting which is not acceptable especially when people around us who were seated 45 min later than us were already done. The server was completely clueless and had no idea of how to take care of his tables. The manager instead of taking care of the bad service issue we had, promised to take care of us “next time” which will never happen now. I was hoping for a special experience on Valentines day for my wife's birthday and valentines but instead we had a far less than attentive waiter and poor management skills. Food was good but at best 1 star for service.

Fantastic happy hour! The drinks are amazing and extremely reasonably priced at the HH deal!

Best meal in months. Wonderful scratch delights and fabulous service. Our waiter, Tom, was enthusiastic about the dishes. I took him up on his recommendations and I even liked the vegetables. We will dine again when we want that SPECIAL meal.

This restaurant deserves patrons. They are working hard at having a quality culinary experience. The service was perfect. For food, the soup was perfect for a wet night. The branzino and lasagna were excellent. We will definitely go back.

Steve and his team do a great job. The food is really exceptionally good and the service is excellent. The setting is very nice and the staff is happy to accommodate your table request when they can. Your wine prices are also fair. I have been to this restaurant many times, and will return many times in the future . I highly recommend this restaurant. Your wine prices are also fair.

I like this place. After a long day at work, dinner wasn't happening. My husband mentioned Terra e Mare. We have been a few times, but it had been a while since we stopped by. I am happy with his choice because we had a delicious meal here. We started with the buratta salad which was tasty. Creamy burrata and perfectly salted, ripe tomatoes. I had the Jidori chicken while my husband had the pork chop. Both of our plates were sooooo good. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, topped with a slightly smoke cheese. I also enjoyed all of the fresh grilled veggies, especially the eggplant. The pork chop was huge! It was also nicely seasoned and cooked to the perfect temp. The plate was loaded with sauteed mushrooms and had a side of roasted veggies drizzled in balsamic. We really enjoyed this meal. The service was also good as well. I just feel like this spot is always serving up fresh, good food and does it consistently.

We were feeling for Italian and came back to Terra E Mare because JC took such great care of us last time. JC did not disappoint and again took great care of us. It is so hard to find great restaurant with consistent service and great food. We choose to go with the specials he recommended we loved both the seabass with picata sauce and roasted duck. Highly recommend to anyone and we look forward to our next outing!!

I picked this restaurant out of the blue and was pleasantly surprised that it was so good. The steak (aged Creekstone NY) was easily one of the best I've had in recent history.

The entrees were delicious, with nice flavor and good portions. Appetizers were just ok, but it is quite possible we ordered the wrong ones. However, the desert was spectacular! The tiramisu and cheesecake were incredible.
