We are very particular about sushi and we love this place. The sushi is fresh. The service is premium and the atmosphere is really beautiful. It’s a really good looking place too. Unique and striking in its appearance.

This place is just so cute and a fun little experience, love coming here for a cute dinner date. The sushi is great and the sake is too. Staff is very friendly and free parking is available behind the building. Would recommend!

Finally made my way here over the weekend. Wow, was not disappointed. Got the 6 handroll set. Fish quality was superb. Service was excellent. 10/10 would highly recommend and will definitely return

We had 10 hand rolls delivered—they don’t come with wasabi or soy sauce. Only a few of the rolls could be enjoyed without the traditional accoutrements.

i do not ever post negative reviews, but we ordered at 6:50 and received a 7:20 estimate for pickup. It is now 8:30 and we still do not have our food. Are you serious?

The whole experience was amazing. Service was quick and friendly. They were very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The chefs quickly made our rolls and each one was better than the last. With everything being made right in front of us, you could tell that everything was fresh and of the highest quality. This time we got the 5 hand roll set, a H.Y.E., and, our favorite, Uni Shooters. I cannot wait to come back and try the bowls next time!

Great Sushi.

This place is something else. Walked in not expecting much and walked out seriously impressed. The Bar has some of the best handrolls I’ve had in LA — no joke.

The fish is insanely fresh, the rice is warm, and the seaweed has that perfect crunch. You can tell they care about the little things.

Vova was behind the counter and made the whole experience fun and easy. Super knowledgeable but not pushy — just a cool guy who loves great sushi.

It’s got a chill, modern vibe. Great for a solo bite or bringing a friend. Will definitely be back soon. This spot is a win.

We ordered about $200 worth of takeout handrolls the other night and while it was prepared fast and all of their food storage felt high end, we were over all disappointed. 2 things we ordered were at least memorable tasting (salmon yuzu and scalop uni) but everything else was bland and basic. Also I get that's a large order but I'm confused why we ended up with so many soggy seaweed wrappers. Other places, especially at this price point, isolate the seaweed from the rice so that when you receive it the seaweed is still crunchy when doing takeout or delivery.

Great fresh and no waiting!

I’ve been wanting to try The Bar – Handrolls by Seabutter for a while, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The menu is super fun and creative—not like other handroll spots where you’re stuck with a super limited selection. I started with the six handroll set and couldn’t resist adding a few bonus rolls: “The CUT” (caviar, uni, and toro!) was next level, plus the salmon truffle and wagyu uni were just insane. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Can’t wait to come back!

Had an amazing experience thanks to our server David! He was attentive friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Great service makes all the difference, and because of him, I’ll definitely be coming back!
