Just drove in from Phoenix and stayed across the street at the El Royale Gardens for a quick trip to Universal. We didn't feel like driving anymore so we decided to try this place out. From the outside this place looks quiet, mellow, and maybe a little dirty, but inside it was lively and busy. I had a juicy burger and my wife had a salad and they were both excellent. The atmosphere is all British pub feel with games on the tv's and a lively crowd having a great time. And this was a Wednesday night! The absolute highlight of our night was having Summer as our server. She is a breath of fresh air! All smiles, super friendly, and very attentive. She was the icing on the cake for us. We will definitely be back for a visit the next time we're in town.

We went here on a Sunday night as I was craving some fish and chips. The place was easy to get to and parking was okay (street parking). The food was okay but it had this weird taste to it…almost like cardamom or cinnamon or something like that. Really odd. Anyway, the worst part of our experience was not the food or the service but some of the patrons who were clearly drunk or had some hearing problems because one of them was scream talking the whole time. Literally, the whole pub can hear this guy and no one from the staff told him to keep it down a bit. Ufff…we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Now, I realize it’s a pub but scream talking gets old fast. Even in a pub or bar.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely not a place to bring your kids.

Dear Rude Owner, I did receive bad service. My one piece of fish wasn't perfect, it was dry and Maria did argue with me and got mad when I asked to send it back for another one. She also DID NOT light my candle when I asked, she said no but she eventually lit all the candles. I ordered a beer and she forgot until about 10 minutes later, not 3 minutes, I don't know where you got that idea. The two regulars who "witnessed my behavior" only saw the end when I was leaving, and at that point I treated her the way she treated me. Yes I was rude and condescending at the end, but it was a reaction to her awful service. I was standing at the bar being ignored and finally had to interrupt their conversation in order to get my check, and that's what they witnessed. I don't usually leave bad reviews unless I feel strongly about it, so I left an honest review about my bad experience and you commented with a nasty response and said I'm 86'd and to take my problems somewhere else. No, I don't think so, you're the one who's 86'd and you're the one with the problem. And of course she alerted you beforehand because she knew that I would complain about the bad service I received, so that makes her a liar on top of it. She didn't care if I was happy and by your earlier response I can see you don't care either. Bad service, bad food, rude owner. I'm going to go on with my life and forget about this experience and don't worry, I would never come back there even if it were free. Go ahead and leave another nasty response but I can tell you that you are wrong and you don't have the facts straight, but then again I know you don't really care. I received bad service, and crappy food. My feelings are valid. My review is valid.

Nice enough place to have a quick bite. Average draft beer selection, but full bar. The bartender was very nice but looked like overwhelmed due to happy hour. Great music selection for someone who likes classical rock. Would come back.

Parking: The local area has restricted parking. Arrive early to find close parking.

Great British food and a Doctor Who meet-up once a month, and when they serve you a pot of tea, it stays hot. This is a big thing for me because you know I don't think fast but I like my tea hot and not lukewarm. The pasties are great. The fish and chips are wonderful. It's a good place
