The sides in my opinion were okayyy.. However, 4 stars to Uncle Andre's because they have a niche that cannot be found elsewhere. Their bbq is the type of bbq you only find at cookouts. The bbq immediately transported me to a summer day at the park with friends and family.

This place is Amazing! As soon as I walked in and smelled the barbecue I knew it was going to be good. I'm pescatarian so I had the catfish. I can't remember the last time I had catfish that good! I usually pour hot sauce all over. I didn't do that, it was great without it. I also had the greens and Mac and cheese. Both were so damn good. I was humming and dancing... that's how you know the food is good. The guy I was with had the ribs, brisket and chicken with Mac and cheese and beans... he enjoyed it thoroughly, that he ordered the same plate to go...lol. The only thing I was mad at is that I just found this place and it's been there since the 90's! One more thing I was mad at is that they ran out of the peach cobbler and banana pudding. Dying to try their dessert. You will not disappoint when eating here and they are super friendly. Cornbread was soooo good too!

Food was pretty good and well seasoned. Chick was awesome, brisket was good but maybe a little thin, links were good, pork ribs were maybe on the dryer side then use to but still good. Cornbread was on point, and cold Mac taste a little store bought.

This is my new favorite BBQ spot in LA. The staff is always very friendly, the food is cooked fresh to order and it is heavenly. So far I have had the fried chicken, hot links, baked beans, fries and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is deceivingly good. It does not look traditional since it has that southern style flair, but it tastes incredible. The sauce used on the hot links is perect blend between sweet and savory. The fried chicken is some of the best I have had in LA, not exaggerating. I will frequent here now, I hope they are ready.
Small little place with fantastic food. Great jambalaya on Fridays. They have the best catfish sandwich and their children wings are beyond tasty. Make sure you bring cash. Highest quality of food imaginable. 100% recommended.

I feel like I always say wow in my reviews lol and I truly mean it when I use it. Now, this place is SERIOUSLY 5 start quality food. It's authentic and filled with so much flavor. I highly highly recommend checking this out before Universals Studios Hollywood, or if you're in the area!I I got the combo plate that had a little of everything and it was a loaded plate.

I am from North Carolina. I was very disappointed with the food. The BBQ chicken was good. However; the greens, potato salad, and macaroni & cheese were very tasteless and disappointing. I went here because of the reviews. Smh. Either the reviews are from friends/family or rigged. He even came to my car to switch orders and I am sure he gave the other customer that food. I will never ever go to this establishment again. And I highly recommend you all go elsewhere. If I could rate a 0, I definitely would.
