Visited Uovo in Studio City for the first time and tried their tasting menu. The truffle pasta was amazing, seriously good. The pomodoro was just okay, didn't impress much. But the Tiramisu? Wow, I'm not even a big fan of Tiramisu and it left me speechless. Worth a visit for sure.

It was a good experience. All the dishes are created in front of you, and the flavor of all the ones I tried exceeded my expectations.

I was told Uovo has the best pasta from my wife and son. My experience was nothing short to what I was told. Pastas are awesome, employees are kind, restaurant is clean and cozy. The best part was Tiramisu. I'll be back for sure.

"When you hear of an Italian restaurant boasting pasta flown in fresh from Bologna, it's hard not to be intrigued. With fond memories of authentic Bolognese cuisine from a trip to Italy, we decided to celebrate a birthday dinner there with friends. Despite the anticipation, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag.Firstly, the restaurant doesn't take reservations and is quite small, so we found ourselves waiting over an hour before finally being seated. To exacerbate matters, they don't offer bread, which would have been a welcome distraction, especially with restless kids in tow. However, once we finally dug into our meals, the pasta was undeniably good, though it fell short of our culinary memories from Bologna. Nevertheless, it's certainly among the top contenders for homemade pasta in the city.On the plus side, the service was impeccable, with a friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance was cozy and relaxed, perfect for a romantic evening out.Overall, if you're a couple seeking a decent Italian dish, you can't go wrong here. However, for larger groups, be prepared to wait a while before indulging in the tasty offerings."

Amazing meal! There was a long, 90 minute wait for our table, but the food was excellent! We just returned last week from Italy, and Uovo's pasta was as close as you can get to authentic Italian pasta in Los Angeles!

I went here for the first time tonight with the lady for Valentine's Day. It was a very nice experience despite the near 2 hour wait time. The tiramisu is delectable albeit small. The wine tasted clean, which is rare. The Crema di Parmigiano was absolutely delicious along with the Arrabbiata. However, both dishes were very salty, taking away from the natural flavors inherently found within. I don't know if this is normal, but if it is then that's disappointing. I will definitely go back during lunch hours to try the Ragu and Carbonara, and then I'll know if their dishes are oversalted or not.

Everything about this place is so good! The area, the atmosphere inside and the FRESH pasta ? it is first come first serve so it’s almost impossible to get in on weekends, I recommend a weekday. Enjoy ??

This is how pasta should always be served! We did the multi course share meal and everything came out perfectly. I'll definitely be back, they really know what they're doing. I usually don't even like Tiramisu but this was great.

I have been dying to go here and finally made it. The food was delicious and it was fun watching how they made the food. The only issue I had out server was rushing us to get us out of the bar sitting which was annoying. The Insalata diarugula & mizuna salad was delicious. My friend had the Crema di Parmigiano which was out of this world. I had the special with truffle it was good just needed little more cheese on it.

Wow! My husband and I went here tonight for our 10 year anniversary and all I can say is WOWWWW! EVERYTHING is PHENOMENAL! I'm not joking: EVERYTHING IS PHENOMENAL! The service was amazing, the food tasted like we were in Italy, the atmosphere was gorgeous. I'm vegetarian and there were a great selection of vegetarian options PLUS when you order gluten free it's still authentic tasting because they still handmade the gf pasta with the imported ingredients! My husband couldn't even tell the difference between the gf and regular! The wine is yummy and I literally don't think I've been this happy with a restaurant in a long time! They don't take reservations but the area is beautiful and so waiting makes it a pretty experience. Take first available when it comes to a table because they were SUPER busy and we only had to wait about 28 minutes, but we did first available and sat at the bar and felt like we got the most amazing service (super attentive). Everyone needs to experience this restaurant! It's beyond AMAZING!Dietary restrictions: They offer GF options! Plus they do have some dairy free optionsWheelchair accessibility: All one level

I really loved this place. First time and also my expectations for Italian spots are not that high to begin with, but this place first of all had excellent service, the menu was decently priced, and the noodles were so chewy and delicious!! I will recommend to everyone to try it at least once! Obviously it was in that plaza in Studio City, so was very hip and casual at the same time. The parking that day was quite crazy, but I'm not from around the area, so perhaps that is just a normal day. The four of us got 2 tasting menus and I could have eaten much more. So good!

Came here during a GNO and we had a wonderful time. Food was good (we shared) and had some great wine. The servers were super friendly and patient (we got tipsy towards the end). Overall a great spot to try!

it can be a tight squeeze. mostly bar seating with a few table seats along the front and back of a narrow lot. they are quick to sear you. food is excellent! excellent wine optionsVegetarian options: plenty of choices. they do not do any substitutions to a dish. so pick the option that you do want.
