I’m very young and I like being honest. A woman with a ton of make up that I thought was beautiful and nice, turned out to be rude. My family ordered a burger (plain clearly) and she came back and it had pickles and tomatoes. It was a mistake, but when we told her that we said plain, she said we didn’t order it like that. So of course we said sorry and the woman next to her said they would remake it. The woman looked pissed and my sister passed her the plates gently and she had the audacity to grab the plate out of her hand and walked away slightly aggressive. If you can’t work without getting angry, don’t work. The old lady was nice but the other woman was not.

Problems with our food. Been to many black bear diners, but this one wasn't up to snuff. Salmon wasn't fresh and was dry. The grits I ordered were cold and the hot open faced turkey sandwich wasn't hot. Had to send back sandwich and grits to reheat and needed to order something else in place of salmon. Felt there should have been some compensation, but the only thing the server said was We're not going to charge you for the salmon- well, duh because it wasn't eaten because it wasn't good. Felt that the reorder of another food should have been discounted, at least. Restaurant wasn't at all crowded and I think I know why, now.

Food was not better than IHOP or Denny's but the portions were large. First time at a black bear diner, definitely overhyped. Service was a little slow. The staff is definitely nice.

One of the best Black Bear Diners that I’ve been to. Really great food here, service was great as well. The restaurant is smaller than other Black Bear Diners but still great.
