This place is in a small shopping center corner with 3 other businesses, and very little parking. The resurant is very small with 5 or 6 tables. It's not loud at all the only thing you hear is them cooking . The wait was a little long considering my gf and I were the only ones there at the moment .. they might have other others I'm not sure but the wait was my only complaint.. but everything came out hot and fresh so that might have been why.. the food was pretty good the tortillas were nice hot and fresh. The lady that took our order was nice and overall left full .. I'll be back later in the future

Southern California has no shortage of pupusarias. El Pipil Restaurante may just be my new favorite. Pupusas are made to order and absolutely delicious. They are big, too. I should've stopped at three but they were so good I overindulged. It was worth it. Also well worth the drive from wherever you are.

Delicious, fresh, made on the spot, generous portion. Now that we've discovered this place, it's going to be hard to resist coming here everyday!

Randomly strolled into this place on a Wednesday; decided to have their special(s) for that day. This included tacos for $1.25 each, (asada, pollo or pastor) and a burrito, (Asada or Pollo) con papas for $8.99. I got one of each choice of meat for my tacos, and a pollo burrito, coming to a total of $15, (with a few dollars tipped) and I must say that I was quite impressed! The meats were all packed with flavor, my fries were crujiente and their red & green salsas were excellent as well! The woman behind the counter was friendly & patient with me, as I had ordered my burrito con papas a few minutes before going back to order my tacos. She took both orders efficiently, and I only waited about 10-15 minutes for my food to arrive. The restaurante is quaint and has only about 5-6 tables to dine at, but that made it feel that much more authentic imo, (in my opinion). It's a fusion of Mexican/Salvadoran cuisines which I happen to love very much, so I will DEFINITELY be coming back to try more of their menu! This place gave me a great meal and first impression, and I highly recommend!

First time here, parking was a bit crowded inside the plaza. The restaurant was a small place with limited tables and seats. When you enter it does have a nice native home ambiance. Customer service was great with great prices on their food. I decided to get 3 pupusas, two revueltas and one con queso y chicharon. Food was freshly made which was perfect for this cold weather. The only thing that I had a lil problem with was that they didn't give enough condiments for my three pupusas. I should of asked for extra but not sure if that would be additional $$. But overall the experience was great. Will come back againParking: Parking might be a little difficult to find depending on the time you arrive.

Small little hole in the wall restaurant found it on Yelp last night. Small parking lot so had to park on the street on a Friday night. Hubby and I shared a carne asada torta (not pictured), a pupusa each and platanos fritos. The torta was ok, nothing crazy but was made with a nice fresh bolillo. The pupusa was a great size, had good flavor and was not greasy! But the star of the night were the platanos fritos, delicious!

Happened to drive by and wasn't disappointed! Best pupusas in Sun Valley. Everything was delicious and we even bought food to go. Staff were warm and welcoming. Recommend 10/10!

Unassuming but tasty spot in deep North Hollywood. The super awesome ladies cooking here know what they're doing. Mexican favorites & delicious tacos all served up on a simple but beautiful to-go plate. Definitely a go-to when I'm in the area

A TRUE LOCAL GEM! I found the Goldilocks of pupusas.Price: Can't beat it! I've busted a mission hunting for pupusas around LA & have paid up to $12 for one elsewhere. On Tuesdays & Thursdays, they're $1-1.25 here! $3 On a regular day - still the best!Serving size: Not too tiny, not to thin. Not too obnoxiously huge or floppy either. So easy to eat on the go or with your hands. Perfectly filled.Lastly, they whipped these up in 5 minutes. (:

Just found the valleys best pupusa spot! Hidden gem, blink and you'll miss it. We had pupusas and the plátano breakfast, BY FAR THE BEST. I am so impressed by the quality, portions and reasonable prices. I will be returning very soon! :)
