The food quality has deteriorated significantly disappointed with mutter paneer and chapathi combo

Not much variety - there are other stores with more variety of rice, atta, frozen foods etc.

Extra long lines - A 20 people long line for billing that wrapped around different aisles, very inconvenient for billing as well as for other shoppers.

Rude cashier - unnecessary attitude, throwing the receipt, bad response.

The only extra star is that the place was clean.

No reason to return to this place, ever.

Love their wide varieties of paan! Dry fruit paan, gulab jamun and royal meetha paan were great.

I visited this place around 8 PM on February 7, and the experience was awful because of the lady working there. As soon as we ordered two plates, her facial expressions completely changed and she started behaving extremely rudely. Her attitude was arrogant, unwelcoming, and outright disrespectful.

The way she handled the food and spoke to us was the rudest behavior I’ve ever experienced at a food stand. It felt like we were bothering her just by ordering. This was very disappointing because we have been here several times before, and the other staff members were always polite and friendly.

This lady clearly has no customer service skills and should not be serving food if she cannot treat customers with basic respect. Her behavior ruined the entire experience, and because of her attitude alone.

Management seriously needs to take action because her behavior is unacceptable and will drive customers away. I would strongly advise people to avoid this stand unless they want to be treated with attitude, disrespect, and pure negativity.

They charge prices different from displayed and then no one picked up the call

Decent place to find all kinds of Indian grocery items. They have a separate section for food as well, yet to try but looked not so busy. They have a pani puri cart outside that sells different flavors of pani puri and it was good

Shopping here is great. Love the golgappa outside.

No cottage cheese in cottage cheese curry dated 12/29/25 bought in the evening for about $10.

Customers are happy to pay more but can you please be genuine with serving contents.

I had a very disappointing experience at Apni Mandi Sunnyvale. The staff were extremely rude, not helpful at all, and spoke to customers with very bad behavior. They did not allow customers to use the restroom, which is unacceptable for a busy grocery store. Only one counter was open while around 50 people were standing in line, and nobody seemed to care about the long wait or customer service. Overall, very poor management and service – I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place to others.

Tried the fresh food from the food corner in the supermarket.

I tried a few things :
1. Onion samosa - very good
2. Paneer puff - Not good.
3. Bombay sandwich plus chips. The chips were exactly like the ones I had had in India.. the sandwich though.. was not good. It has all the right elements but it doesnt have any sauces. Its dry and they need to add some masala as well. Wouldnt recommend it, plus it took atleast 15-20 mins to prepare. Not worth it.
I will try the chaats next time. Prices are convenient, and you can get a full meal for a nominal price - so do check out the place for full meals.
I like that i found Vadilal flavours that i like from india - badam carnival, kaju draksht, rajbhog kulfi.

I had called the store about my doordash order and the lady on the phone was very rude and didn’t help me out at all and I asked a question and she said “that is not my problem” and then she hung up the phone after.
