A Hidden Gem: Exploring the Wonders of Baraka Halal Market. From the moment you step into this Baraka market, you are greeted with an inviting aroma that promises an authentic culinary journey. The market, located in the heart of the Sunnyvale, is not just a place to buy groceries—it's a vibrant cultural hub where every aisle and corner is filled with beauty and tradition. The market's layout is thoughtfully designed, making shopping both a leisurely exploration and an efficient errand. The produce section is a rainbow of fresh fruits and vegetables, all crisp and inviting. The butcher's counter offers a wide range of high-quality, halal-certified meats, cut to order with precision and care. What sets Baraka Market apart is its attention to detail and commitment to authenticity. The shelves are stocked with an extensive selection of spices that transport you to far-off places, from the bustling markets of Marrakech to the fragrant kitchens of Istanbul. Each item in the market is carefully selected, ensuring that it meets strict halal standards and comes from the best sources. The market is not only a feast for the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes. The staff at Baraka Halal Market are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to help or offer help. Special thanks to Mohammed.

if you want to buy high quality meat, this is where you go. Friendly people, nice place, and fresh high quality meat. If you are lucky you will find some artisan bread that is so much better than store bought ones.

Disrespectful behavior towards customer. I confused fresh mutton price with paya mutton. We just looked at the menu to confirm the price and the cashier says- “next time buy paya” . Also, Always weighs half to 1 pound more meat than asked for.

People who are running this store are disrespectful towards customers. I’m not going to purchase anything from them. I cook for my dogs and need lots of lamb heart and liver. They told me they have meat delivery every Thursday around 3 pm. I was there at 3 pm, and they told me there was no lamb heart and asked me to leave my phone number and name and how much meat I wanted, then go back on Saturday around noon to pick it up. I was there today to pick up my order, and they told me no lamb heart was available! They did this in the past, but I gave them another chance because it’s not easy to find lamb heart around here, but I’m not going to give them any more chances and spend hundred dollars in a store that has zero respect toward customers.

Flies in the meat fridge and stale bread. Empty shelves, lots of dust. I'd rather die of starvation than shop here

The owner is very rude. The store hours are not accurate. The Afghan bread is very stale, please avoid it.

Persian spices, dough yogurt drink, frozen pyhllo dough, bread, things you would find in arabic/persian grocery store. Tried the marinated chicken, whole chicken, lamb. Whole chicken: looking for higher quality chicken than Costco/WF sources. Strong chemical smell. Marinated chicken ok, skin off; can bbq. Dry rub spice mixture. Buyer beware if meat is really fresh or clean. No way to verify if meat being sourced from underground channels. Owner is a hustler. Stopped going here after few purchases. Back to Dittmer. Bigger companies have processes in place for tracibility to track problems. Not here. Rude owner. Low reviews accurate. Not really transparent when you ask him or the person working at the meat counter questions. Seems evasive. Easier to find someone more ethical.

Good meat. Goat stew pieces have plenty of meat and not full of bones like other places. Store is also clean.
