Daily go to love this place
Simple food but expensive..
Recently went there for the first time. It will be my last. I have health conditions that require me to know what's in menu items. So when I asked the barista what was in one of the specialty drinks and they responded with the name of the drink, it was really off-putting. Not only was it a condescending response, it showed inconsideration for patrons with health concerns and/or invisible disabilities. And the latte was mid.
I love Bean Scene and have been here a lot of times. I’ve tried their red velvet coffee, the island latte, the white chocolate and the black forest. I’m a fan of different coffee flavours that they offer. However, why I gave 4 stars is because of the service. One of the servers was indifferent to my feedback where I was just trying to communicate that the latte was a little too sweet for my taste to which he replied “maybe ask for a less sweeter one next time!”
ordered whole milk iced decaf latte, came with fat-free milk instead. baristas weren’t friendly either. the cafe’s ambience was nice so i’ll give stars for that.
This place is always great!
Great stop for weekday diner style breakfasts
Tasty bagel and lox sandwich here.
Nice, cozy cafe on Murphy Avenue. Cappuccino was great. Ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on croissant was great too. Family had the Avocado toast and chicken melt sandwich and liked both. Place the order at the counter and they’ll get your food to your table
Bean Scene Coffee – A Timeless Favorite I’ve been coming to Bean Scene Coffee since 2005, and even after moving out of the area, I still make a point to stop by whenever I can. This place has always had a special charm—great coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and some of the best food around. My go-to orders are the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich and the Lox on a Bagel—both consistently delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The flavors are well-balanced, and the quality has remained top-notch over the years. There’s something comforting about returning to a spot that still feels like home, no matter how much time has passed. Bean Scene Coffee continues to be a favorite, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, coffee, and a cozy vibe.

Delicious coffee and food. I ordered the black forest mocha, and it was just what I needed.
Always friendly and good coffee
Quirky Cozy cafe on Murphy street! Decent coffee and great spot to chill and hang out. Plenty of seating space. Lot of restaurants nearby as well if you wanna grab a bit!
I always enjoy coming here to get my coffee when I don't have the time to make it at home!
Ordered on DoorDash to try this place out because it had good reviews on Google. My order was wrong. They turned my omelette into crepe. I would have been okay with it if the crepe had tasted better.
