We recently visited California Momo Kitchen and had a wonderful Himalayan food experience. We tried their steamed chicken and lamb momos, and both were absolutely exceptional. They were properly stuffed, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor--easily the highlight of our meal.
We also ordered the chicken kothe momos. They were decent, but compared to the steamed momos, they were just okay.
The chicken chow mein was very delicious--well-cooked noodles with lots of fresh veggies and chicken . Great flavor and generous portions. Another standout dish was the Chicken Helambu Aloo, a traditional Himalayan curry that was rich, comforting, and full of authentic flavors.
The service was very good--the staff patiently answered all our questions and happily accommodated our needs, which made the experience even better. The ambience is casual and fun, perfect for a relaxed meal.
Overall, California Momo Kitchen is a great spot for Himalayan cuisine, especially if you love juicy, flavorful momos. Definitely worth a visit!

The food was so good, we had the momo sample plate, the curry with potatoes and basmati rice, the lamb and chicken skewers with saffron rice and enjoyed everything including the staff/ family that runs the restaurant that made us feel so welcomed. Looking forward to the next time.

Really amazing food with generous portions at affordable prices. + Momo was great. We especially enjoyed the pan seared or steamed style + All the skewers were good, but I like the lamb the most + Goat curry was awesome. Full of flavor and the goat was very skillfully prepared

I had the best momos in Bay Area at this hidden gem! They have amazing options for both veg and non-veg lovers - the veg momos were flavorful and the chicken momos were tender and juicy! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The floor, table and restroom cleanliness was good too . Can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious dishes.

I wouldn't have discovered this place if it weren't for a friend recommending it to me. The garlic noodles and momos are my favorite. The restaurant is spacious and I can have a conversation with the table without feeling like it's too congested or loud. Friendly service, too.
