Chelokababi Persian Cuisine

We love Persian food, and they do it very well. However, the noise level is so high, I would hesitate to go again .

I've been to Chelo many times. All of the dishes I only have high reviews for all of the dishes my friends and i have ordered.(appetizers: hummus, falafels, Kashko Bademjan / entrees: rack of lamb, kababs - koobideh, joojeh, barg, Gheymeh / Baglava) Perfectly seasoned, quality meats and vegetables, and presented very well. Excellent service from the hostess, waiters and waitresses. What amazes me is that the food and service has always been on point on all of my visits. Kudos to the management and owners for sustained high level service and quality.

Chelokababi has really improved over the past few years, service is really friendly and attentive, food is excellent as always and the interior is bright, cheerful and busy. We had the Fesenjun, Gheymeh and Joojeh Kebab and all were excellent. Nice selection of teas for the ending also.

One of the best High Tea experiences in Silicon Valley!!!! Highly recommend it to check it out and have a relaxing 2hrs, drinking many choices of lovely aromatic teas with delicious lovely savory and sweet finger foods mainly made in house! The host Maryam Joon was so hospitable and well organized 💕
We will be definitely back for more tea time!

Loved the place the first time we went, so we went another time for a family member's birthday, and it surpassed expectations: in addition to the great food (the koobideh is particularly good), they added a complimentary dessert and a handwritten happy birthday note. Also love the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Some of the best Persian cuisine i have tasted. Not with kimmy. Next time ask for table next time on patio with kimmy. Order Mediterranean salad with beef kabob. To die for. Highly recommend.

We had a nice dinner. The restaurant is welcoming and the service was attentive. Our food was mostly very good, but my shish kabab was disappointing as the meat was a little overcooked. The baghali polo was very tasty, and we loved the faloodeh. We would definitely return. The plates and cups were lovely, and added to the experience.

Today my son and I visited this restaurant for tea, and we absolutely loved it! The place has a beautiful and elegant atmosphere, with a cozy and stylish setup. The service was excellent and very welcoming.
We also ordered the lamb kebab to-go, and it tasted amazing — tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
Everything was both beautifully presented and truly delicious.

I recently visited Chelokababi with two friends and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully prepared. We enjoyed Zeitoon Parvardeh, Joojeh Kabab, Kabab Barreh, Koobideh Kabab, Gheymeh, Salad Shirazi, and Doogh — every single dish was full of flavor and felt authentically home-cooked.

We asked for half rice and half salad with our kabob orders, and the portions were very generous. The kabobs were tender and juicy, and the appetizers and stews were fantastic.

The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were incredibly nice, friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed.

Overall, we had a great dining experience. Highly recommend Chelokababi for anyone looking for delicious Persian cuisine and warm hospitality! We will definitely be back.

We have been eating at Chelokababi for over 20 years. The food is delicious and the service is always excellent. Yesterday we took our 2 years old granddaughter. The staff brought her a very cute alphabet mat, her drink, her crayons and coloring paper. She was well entertained before the food arrived. When we left, she was given a toy! We highly recommend Chelokababi!

Very good food. Tea is also very tasty and comes with a sugar stick. Highly recommend.
