Food was good and service was great. A bit noisy at times as all are seated in one room. The tea service feature looks interesting and we plan to try it soon.
Food is delicious with several options for the variety of dietary restrictions and flavors to experience. The kitchen did amazing as we sat down at the same time as a large group of 20+ people also arrived. The food was served promptly. The ambience of the tea house in the adjacent room to the dinning room is classy, quiet and relaxing.
The decor was lovely, the waitstaff were attentive and very polite, the noise level was off the charts—could not even hear what our waiter was saying. Our appetizer of 6 tiny Samosas was delicious, especially the mint sauce served with it. We had Kabobs (Filet Minion and Lamb) with the expected Saffron Rice. Rice was delicious. Kebabs had good flavor—but unfortunately were overcooked.
This Persian restaurant has elegant decor that creates a warm atmosphere. The food is decent overall, and the shish kabab is my favorite — tender, flavorful, and well-cooked.

Authentic Persian food. They have Turkish coffee and desserts too.

The atmosphere at Chelo Kebabi is beautiful—warm, well-designed, and feels like home. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the setting. We ordered Soltani Kebab and Lamb Shank with Albaloo Polo and Baghali Polo. The dishes were served lukewarm, and while the Lamb Shank was okay, the rest was quite disappointing. One of the cherries in the Albaloo Polo still had a pit, which nearly cracked my tooth. When we mentioned it, they said it’s common for some cherries to have seeds—something that really shouldn’t happen. Great ambiance, but the food needs serious improvement.

For a persian food, it was MEH but definitely not good.
Koobideh was horrible!!
Jooje was decent.
Kabab torsh was MEH.
It might taste okay for non-persian people, but for persian people who have tried good kabab before, I don't recommend this place.

Ordered the rack of lamb despite the price tag, best financial decision of 2025. This thing was so tender I forgot I had teeth. Literally melted in my mouth. Chicken kebab was solid too. Living nearby to this place is dangerous for my wallet but great for my taste buds. Already planning my next visit.

They were very kind and gracious. We went with kids and had a great family lunch here. The food was really yummy, kobideh was juicy and fresh, the portions were big. Don’t forget to try shirazi dessert faloodeh.
Thank you!

I come here often and every time I’m blown away by how welcoming the staff are, especially Mahin. She’s so warm, like a true Persian host. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, almost like a little museum that takes you back in time. Every detail is so thoughtful and well kept. I’ll definitely keep coming back, because it really feels like home.
Excellent food. I haven’t been here in many years. Surprised to see that they actually improved their business in a time where most businesses are cutting costs, lowering quality, and becoming sadder.
The hot bread, yogurt appetizers, cold pitchers of water that didn’t taste nasty like 90% of restaurants were a great start. Then the food was actually excellent. Portion, quality, and taste were excellent. I’m Persian and I know what good kabobs are. It’s rare to get anything worthwhile anymore when you go out. I have to admit I was surprised that they do such a good job here. I am looking for are to going back.
Only blemish was my rice was a bit undercooked that I was surprised about given how well they did everything else. No one in my party had the same issue. So, I’ll write that off.
I had the mixed ground kabobs and both beef and chicken were delicious and perfectly made. The choice of half rice and salad is great with a salad that is very nice while you still get a lot of rice.
