Every single time I mobile order here something goes wrong…
There was no more guacamole left. Horrible place, do not go 🤮🤮
Avoid this Chipotle at all cost. I’ve given this location so many chances over the three years I’ve lived in Sunnyvale. And they always find a way to disappoint. From always being out of food, to snarky attitudes, to the smallest portions you’ve ever seen.
I drive out of my way to the 3249 Coronado Pl
Santa Clara Chipotle—and I can’t believe how much better that location is. The food, the portion size, the people… there’s no way it’s the same restaurant.

Staff wise everyone was good but the veggie bowl tasted bad due to the high salt content

We had the worst experience at this chipotle location. There was no lettuce and no guacamole at all even though there were still two hours left before closing. I ordered double protein, but got barely the regular amount and was still charged extra $4. The fajita veggies were chopped way too big, I even got a whole quarter of an onion in my plate. The whole thing was just a disappointment.

One of the weaker locations in the South Bay in my opinion. The store seems pretty understaffed for the amount of traffic it gets. The dining area looks like it got hit by a tornado, the employees all talk and act like they don't want to be there, and portions are on the smaller side compared to what you usually expect. Don't try to order online from this location unless you're okay waiting 20+ minutes.
The only reason this gets 2 stars is because in the end it's still Chipotle so at least you got the food you were looking for.

This review is for my husband because he's not the type to write a negative review. He ordered from here through DoorDash one day and had an absolute horrible experience. Mind you, he is very very understanding and patient when it comes to service (hence his reluctance to write about his experience), but seeing him deflated and heartbroken after this recent experience is what's pushing me to share this. His order was very simple. He ordered a steak burrito, with white rice, grilled fajitas, and pico de gallo along with a bag of chips and a soda. Some backstory, he was absolutely starving that day because he hadn't had a chance to eat all day from juggling a very busy work schedule while being a full-time caretaker for his dad who was fully dependent as he was dying from cancer and under hospice. I was at work and my husband sent me a video of his food when it arrived. First, the burrito was laughably tiny. It easily fit in the palm of his hand from end-to-end. Then, he had taken a couple of bites out his burrito before finally just ripping it open because, as it turns out, it was completely missing the steak and pico de gallo. It was literally just rice and grilled fajitas in there. DoorDash only refunded him a partial credit to account for the missing meat but this wasn't going to get him the burrito he thought he was getting. He was absolutely defeated in that moment and was just so exhausted from everything else that he didn't have the energy to go get another one. My husband NEVER gets like this, but it was so understandable with everything he was going through. I ended up re-ordering him a new one, which came from a different Chipotle, and thankfully was not tiny and had everything he asked for which made him happy again, but that experience just left a horrible tase in my mouth.

I don't understand why it is so difficult to have an order ready at the designated time that I pay to have it ready by. My wife and I waited for almost an hour because they said our order is not ready yet. Then at the very end of waiting they say that they don't have an order matching our names or the items we purchased and we would now have to get in the busy line to place a new order... WHY NOT TELL US THAT FROM THE START? WHY TELL US IT IS NOT READY YET? WHY NOT SAY, WE HAVE NO ORDER LIKE THAT IN OUR RECORDS WHICH MEANS IT DID NOT PROCESS AND THEN HAVE US GO IN LINE? AFTER WAITING FOR ALMOST AN HOUR WHY WOULD YOU NOT RUSH OUR ORDER IF YOU KNEW FROM THE START IT WAS NEVER THERE?? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, JUST SAYING SORRY ABOUT THAT LIKE IT SOLVES ANYTHING. EVERYTHING COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THEY WERE JUST STRAIGHT FORWARDED.

The brown rice is always under cooked at this spot. It's been this way for few years. I went hoping it had improved, but its still subpar food quality. I'll be looking for a different spot next time.

The atmosphere is pleasant and the place is very clean. The staff are friendly and attentive, and there’s a great selection of drinks to choose from. They use single-use, hygienic tableware, which adds an extra sense of safety and cleanliness. It’s a comfortable and reassuring place to enjoy a meal.

Why is your register down at peak hours. You’re chipotle you got money. How is this happening and what are you going to do to prevent it from happening next time. None of the front workers are responsible. This is HR or the manager of the store I’m talking to. Why don’t you have a back up system? This is not acceptable for a franchise. Fix it.

This is the worst store in sunnyvale, they don't know how they don't know how to prepare bowl also, not only bowl the staff don't know nothing, the items are not warm also pinto beans, rice, softria. Whether if they closed the store permanently is best to save the Chipotle fame.
