Authentic home-style northern Chinese food. It’s best if you go for the dishes that don’t require pan-frying, such as the buns, the pumpkin porridge, or the cabbage tofu stew. I chatted with the owner, she is very passionate about not using additives, and fresh small-batch oil everyday; her own grandchildren eat here. I have a sensitive stomach and this is indeed one of the only places I can constantly order from. Overall, this is a restaurant that preserves ingredients’ original flavors like your grandma’s kitchen. The atmosphere is likewise — nothing fancy.

If you like authentic Chinese food this is the place. The food was made to order, hot, and delicious. They do a lot of to go orders. The family that runs it are very nice. Please give it a try you won’t be disappointed. My favorites were the mapo tofu. And the salad. Sooo good.
