A nice Salvadoran restaurant in Sunnyvale. The decor was unpretentious but the food was surprisingly homey and tasty. The pollo guisado chicken stew was a pleasant surprise (we never had this dish before and didn’t know what to expect). Their corn tortillas were much thicker than Mexican ones. The pupusas were very delicious as well. The plates were a bit pricey (over $20 for a lunch). Serving staff were sweet and friendly. We would come back again to try the big Salvadoran...
Great Salvadoran food. I had Yucca and a chicken bowl. Very reasonable portion sizes. You order at the counter (you do get a smile) so 4 stars is the highest I can give. Classic cantina. With the food quality and price it’s easy to recommend if you are in the mood for Salvadoran.
The food here is great. The super taco with the handmade tortillas was so good. The steak was my favorite..the shrimp was good as well .just not as good. Both the salsas were really good. It was a bit tough ordering and I wasn't welcomed right away. But the guy who helped me was patient with all my questions and thoughtful when packing my order to go.
