One of our favorite restaurants. Start with the mini empanadas, Pisco Sour flight or Sangria. Lamb-Cordero a la Nortena or Lomo Saltada. If it tastes good order again!
I had an incredible meal at this new spot! The ceviche sauce was so delicious it actually convinced me to try raw fish for the first time—something I've never done outside of a sushi bar. The salmon with quinoa was also an absolute standout, though a touch less salt would have made it perfect.
I was so very happy that the server told us about the dishes and the exact specifics. I asked her what were her favorites and she happily obliged us. She also spoke in Spanish to my girlfriend as my girlfriend is Colombian and that was very helpful. An absolute return.
The black paella is so good 👍 I've never had this in any other restaurants before.

I placed a phone order and was told it'd take 30m(1st lie). I arrived 40m later and it was not ready, staff told me it was almost ready (2nd lie). 20m later I asked what time the order will be ready, he told me he'd ask the kitchen (3rd lie, he came out to serve another table without giving me an answer). I tried to get his attention but was ignored. Ended up leaving without picking up after waiting for 1h+. I felt very disrespected due to the constant lies.

Lovely place. Food is excellent. Ceviche and pulpo are delicious. Service is very attentive without being pushy. I've been there twice and will come back for sure

Decent but unremarkable Peruvian food. The mini empanadas were dry and tasteless, til we used the yummy dipping sauce. Copa boracho was plentiful, flavorful and tart, topped with crispy calamari (which would've been better served on the side, with dipping sauce)...easily my favorite dish of the night. Peruvian paella, was a sloppy mess, with a couple of nice size shrimp, a couple of clams, one mussel and some chewy calamari. Oh, and several scallops the size of pencil erasers. Pescado a lo macho was very flavorful, but also a bit heavy with the cream sauce. A good portion of seafood, as opposed to the paella.

Portions are huge, flavourful and the platters have a good variety of seafood, veggies and meat for everyone to share. Their pisco sour flight is also such a great deal and so delicious. I’ll be bringing my family and friends here next time they’re in town, a must try in the Sunnyvale area for sure!

My co-workers and I went in to the restaurant, not really knowing what to expect. We were all so wonderfully surprised by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The presentation of the food and the taste were exquisite. Shayla was so patient as she took the time to explain each dish and the traditions behind them. Victor, the owner and chef, really has the touch. He prepared dishes that tantalized the taste buds. I highly recommend Emelina’s for a very unique Peruvian experience!

We had such a great experience here. Came here for a weekend dinner with 6 adults and 2 kids. The waiter we had went above and beyond with his service. He helped the kids w high chairs and waters in plastic cups. He helped us out w our birthday cake at the end of our meal and gave us dulce de leche cookies. I also forgot something at the table and he ran out after us into the street to give it to me. And of course all the food was so delicious. We ordered the ceviche, the bistec, the seafood stew, the lamb, and the halibut. All of it was cooked perfectly and had such good flavor. Would recommend!

Located in a quaint historic district, it was a fun visit. There was a wait as they were finishing up an afternoon event and service was slow. The food was so delicious that it made the wait worthwhile.

Emelina is such a great spot. The ceviche was full of flavor, empanadas were fresh made, and the pisco sour was on point. The staff were super friendly and provided wonderful suggestions. I highly recommend this spot if you’re into authentic Peruvian dishes.
