The quality of the food from Falafel Stop is really good: the falafels are a significant step above Falafel Drive-in and especially Oren’s. The vegan food is prepared at a separate counter from the meat. During the lunch rush, sometimes the owner will walk around with a plate of falafels to hand out to folks waiting in line. Weekdays at lunch get busy: there’s a high school across the street. Parking can get tricky, especially because the owner seems to have a thing for antique cars and sometimes parks his Cybertruck across a few spots when he’s around. Since they enclosed the patio seating, it’s a bit nicer (no fending off pigeons) but the ambiance is still pretty lacking. It’s right next to a 10-lane highway and can get pretty hot during the summer. But the food is great. My favorite is to order the falafel salad with three extra pita (one comes with it) and then you can make 4 falafels for the cost of 2. Make sure to get medium spice and the peppers if you can tolerate some heat. The fries are very hit or miss, for some reason. Sometimes they’re nice and crispy with a pleasant seasoning. But often they’re only salted and feel soggy. Not sure why. You order inside and then take your receipt to another line to the right for them to make the food. For some reason, ordering via DoorDash in the evenings gets you a little crispy cauliflower on the falafel salad? Not bad but strange. Also weird is the cafe that seems abandoned next door. I guess that didn’t work out for them or was just too confusing.

The ordering was very confusing and the falafel was terrible. I ordered a side of hummus. It came in a tub with no pita bread and had no flavor to it and had no flavor to it. I would not visit again!!! No garlic, no parsley, no zing!

The Taco Bell of Israeli cuisine ?

Let me start with the positive - the staff was very nice.
But sadly, that is the only good thing I can say.

The dining area is really a picnic area, from the tables to the utensils. So don't expect any comfort.

And as for the food...I ordered the beef patties plate which comes with one pita, salads, Hummus, and a choice of fried or rice (they were out of rice, so I had extra Hummus instead of fries). I also ordered some falafel balls as an appetizer.

The falafel balls were crunchy but lacked any flavor.
The meat patties were too salty to eat on their own.
The Hummus tasted like the cheap factory stuff you buy at a supermarket. So was the eggplant dip (they called it Baba Ghanoush, but real Baba has tahini in it and this one had mayo).
The vegetable salads that came with it were nothing but roughage, and the tahini sauce I added to salvage them lacked flavor as well (it could have really used lemon and Parsley).
At least the pita was serviceable.

Overall, it was a terrible dinner. If I had to summarize it, I would say "bad affordable food".
Like Taco Bell ?

Have eaten here 3 times now. Food quality has been good each time. Unfortunately each time we have been here our order has been literally lost- Doordash order misplaced, phone order not given to Cooks, in dining order not given to Cooks. Each time after 20 minutes having to ask if our order was forgotten. So if you are in a hurry potentially not the best place to eat. However the food has been well prepared and tasty each time. Next time I come I hope it will be a different experience where the service matches the quality of the food.

Solid falafel. The sabich pita I had was also particularly good.

Ordering is not super straightforward. You wait in line to place an order and receive a receipt. After, you wait in line at either the veggie or meat areas and they’ll make your order on the spot.

It is my third time in a row, that i do online order, The web site inform that The order Will be ready in 30 min. After 30 min, you arrive there to discovery they dos not start to cook your order. The food is amazing , however they can’t handle demand. Falafel stop if you can’t support your demand, do not order online order
