We always enjoy going to Fibbars, and even moreso today on their 30th birthday party. The menu was limited--wisely based on the crowd size--but there were still plenty of food options, including the Irish standards. We shared the shepherd's pie and, because we were concerned that the pie wouldn't be big enough for two, we ordered the corned beef fries starter. We needn't have worried. The pie was plenty big, but the fries were so good we ate those as well. Our friend had the fish and chips and pronounced it as good as always.
The beer selection at Fibbars is always good with several options of many varieties including ipas, dale's, loggers, pilsner's, stouts, and sours and fruited beer. Not to mention ciders. Most of the beers stay the same, but they introduce new ones frequently enough to make it interesting. My wife had a Pliny, which she always enjoys and I had a Mango Cart wheat beer. It was delicious as always. Our friend had the nitro red stout, which was very tasty and something I might get next time we go.
Last but not least, the service is always friendly and helpful..

We came on Trivia night, which apparently you need reservations for. Thankfully, there were open tables in the back! The food was delicious and very generous portions (which is good, because it was a rad pricey - but that's probably just inflation). They had a LARGE selection of on tap beers (more Amber's & reds than we've seen anywhere else!) Lots of craft beers.
We are going to return because there were a lot of menu items that looked really good!
Parking: The lots right next to the restaurant were full. (They service a BUNCH of restaurants in that area) We had to go to the parking garage across from Target. It was free. We had to walk a few blocks, but getting more steps in is good for me (especially after eating such a large meal!)
Ate lunch here recently and the food is really very good and filling. We had fish & chips and the Shepherds pie. If you like fish & chips or Shepherds pie this is the place to get either of them. We've eaten here many times over the years and it's never disappointed. There's both indoor and outdoor seating.
