My son and I went in after golf and sat the bar.Ashley took our drink order and we looked over the food menu. I asked about the Shepherds Pie and she said it was good...she wasn't lying. It was really good and so was the Guinness I washed it down with. Ashley was great and she made sure we were doing Ok with drinks or anything else we needed. I asked her about their Chicken Curry and she said it wealy great so I told if I ever made it back I'd try it. Well...a couple of days later my wife and I were looking for lunch so we went back. We sat at a table and were lucky enough to get Ashley again. I asked for a Half & Half ( Harp and Guinness ) and when she brought it to me it was perfect. The chicken Curry was really really good. I'm still craving it back here in the Chicago area. My wife had the Reuben which she loved. I love Fibbar Magees and wish it was near me, great food, great staff and a comfortable atmosphere.

I had a big review and it's gone. You can see the food grilling and fresh produce diced in front of you. The service was spot on. Mag the waitress she's awesome doesn't miss your table if she sees your drink is low very experienced. Just ask for her or you . Ight tell her you heard plenty about her.

Fibbar Magee's has amazing food that's delicious and filling! You can't go wrong with their menu, they have everything to satisfy the pickiest of eaters! Chicken nuggets all the way to traditional Irish food!
They have loads of drinks available to get every palate, from super discerning to normal! Of course, they have Guinness too!
The environment is super hospitable, cozy, and encourages people to meet and mingle...but most important is the hosts! All the bartenders and waiters are super friendly, knowledgeable and amazing! Evelyn and Michelle (owners) are also super friendly, down to earth and down to party! They will help you with something as simple as picking out a meal to satisfy your craving, or even setting up an elaborate party!
They made our holiday party easy, straightforward, and amazing! Everyone had a great time, thanks to them!
Whether you wnar to wet your whistle or have an event, Fibbar's is the way to go!
Honestly, I have no idea how this place is still open. It’s cash only, which is already questionable, and we all know why some places choose to do that.
I went in for a calm, end-of-the-night drink and ended up being harassed by another customer. He even pushed my date’s chair, and thankfully the bouncer stepped in immediately.
The drink prices kept changing, and I overheard a couple of guys accusing the bartender of shorting them $5 from their change—which, based on their reactions, didn’t seem like the first time it happened.
When I ordered my drink, it was made incorrectly. When I politely told the bartender, she got extremely frustrated for no reason. I ended up just saying “fine” to avoid more attitude. If you’re working directly with the public, especially behind a bar, having a decent attitude is basic professionalism.
They are pouring way too much alcohol some of us don’t want to be drunk!
On a positive note, the blonde bartender was very professional and made great drinks. She was the only good part of the experience.

I was sitting outside and waited 10 minutes for a waiter, but no one came. I went inside and asked if I could order while sitting outside. They said someone would come to take my order, but I waited another 15 minutes and still no one came. So disappointing and disrespectful. 👎👎👎👎

Lovely and lively place. Went on a Fruit evening with a reservation for a group of 20 people. Excellent environment and wonderful hosts! I believe it was Chelsea (the owner) who take care of us! Wonderful person and great service overall!
