Awesome food! Best in the Bay area ?

This is hands down the best vegetarian Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. The summer rolls were fresh and delicious. I also had the vegan duck soup which had a great broth. It’s owned by a sweet family. Support locally owned businesses and come!

Cảm ơn.. I was super bummed, from the reviews I was expecting vegan yum factor to the max.For me, every dish from Lettuce Wraps, Stir fried eggplant with Tofu and the Assorted vegetable stir-fry was way overkill on the sauce and seasoning and was completely dosed and drenched in dressing which also made it pretty sloppy and messy to eat as well as being too sweet.I should have noticed the signs early, being "spicy" ketchup style sauce and no fresh or dry chilli's, what look to be frozen vegetables and store bought jar sauces with completely zero sense of seasoning like putting fresh coriander on everything as well as clearly planters roasted and salted peanuts.I spent a lot of time in Vietnam, I didn't see or taste a single spice or flavor in anything this evening. I hate to negatively review local businesses but this was a super letdown.

It’s so exciting to find a small business that’s entirely vegan and this place is amazing! I’ve been in 3 times this week bc it’s so good. Their orange chicken fooled me into thinking it was real chicken. The pho is 10/10, crispy tofu is amazing, great with to go orders. Couldn’t be happier, would absolutely recommend!!

It's a good vegan restaurant, with nice ambience. The salted fish fried rice was delicious. The lemongrass beef entree was different and good. What I dint like much was the garlic noodles, the flavor was great but the spaghetti noodles with soy protein and garlic wasn't going too well.

Food wise it’s good. I think this used to be mint basil or something because menu wise it looks the same. We came very early so there wasn’t much people there. Our seating area was a bit dusty and the waiter took awhile to get to us. Food wise in order the lemon grass “beef” and bun “Bo”. Some of the food was a bit salty but I don’t mind with vegan food. Overall probably my 4th favorite vegan restaurant in the Bay Area

This place was so awesome! I'm gonna come here all the time when I'm in Sunnyvale. It's our new go to spot! Highly recommend their strawberry tea lemonade! The service was really nice. Overall a chill and serene spot!

What a gem!!! We are always looking for new vegetarian options and decided to give this place a try- it's unbelievable how tasty it is! We got the fried rice extra spicy and the yum yum soup- unreal how delicious both dishes were- will be returning regularly!!

Hubby chose this place to celebrate his bday and we are so happy that we found our favorite vegan restaurant!! And it has a Vietnamese focus as well. We went early and were able to get seated in the back. The service was quick and attentive. We got a carafe with mint and cucumber water - cold and refreshing. We ordered the Autumn roll - and whatever was in the middle crunch was absolutely delicious. I think it was the combo with the savory tofu and then the apples and cucumbers. What a great bite!! The sauce was a bit light but overall a great way to start our meal. We loved everything we ordered. The salted fish fried rice - OMG so much flavor and texture with just a hint of that salted fish. The BIG thing for us was the texture of the rice - it was a bit sticky - like sticky rice. Was SO GOOD... We also got the vegan curry - SO GOOD - what a delicious curry with slightly sweet undertones with all the chunks of eggplant, tofu and other veggies. Curry sauce was a bit runny but was good with the brown rice that we picked to go with it. Next time I may try it with naan - or just order naan on the side! LOL And the last dish we got was the Lemongrass fish - flavor BOMB explosion. Perfect texture with the soy protein that was packed and infused with so much ginger and citrus flavors - and paired with the "cool" crunchy cucumber - was a perfect bite!! We actually ate it with the brown rice that came with the curry. It definitely needed something to eat with because it had so much flavor! By the time we were leaving they were getting packed - so definitely a popular spot. there was plenty of parking which is nice and pretty open and spacious. I forgot to take pics of our drinks - after all they are known for their drinks as well. I got the strawberry yogurt drink and the rest of the fam got the mung bean drinks. All were delicious and refreshing. I have to say - the strawberry yogurt was perfect with the bits of fresh strawberries and the tartness and tanginess of the yogurt. It was SO GOOD... Can't wait to go back - is our new "go to" place for vegetarian/vegan!!

With the word Boba in the restaurant name, I think I expected more of a quick serve Bahn Mi type spot, but this is a well-decorated full-service sit down restaurant. I also didn't realize that it is completely vegan which was a pleasant surprise since we do enjoy eating veggie meats. It's located in a somewhat hidden plaza, with plenty of parking. They have indoor and patio seating. The servers were all really nice, food was slow for a holiday weekend, which they graciously apologized for. There were so many dishes, vegetable plates, soups, rice dishes etc to choose from that I had trouble deciding. We had the Pho which came with a ton of vegetables, and I almost forgot that the soup base was vegetarian. I have no idea how they got the broth to taste so flavorful and similar to chicken pho bases. The Terriyaki Chicken plate was also very good. A bit heavy on the sauce, and a more chewy/firm than I enjoy our veggie chickens, but overall I shouldn't complain since I ate every last morsel of the "chicken"... Combination Vermicilli was also quite good, with a nice amount of little crunchies in it. Comes with crispy flavorful "chicken" egg rolls. Overall, we were happy to find this place, and enjoyed the dishes. I would say just compared to another nearby Asian vegetarian restaurant, the dishes at Merit are more flavorful.

Went there on a rainy Sunday evening around 7.30PM, there are only few customers there, we were quickly seated at the table. The ambience was nice with nice painted mural on backwall of beautiful autumn tree! We ordered Tom Yum soup and spicy noodle soup, Garlic fried rice, vegan curry and two Boba drinks. Soup was nice and tasty just right for our taste and so are the main dishes. Kids loved the Boba drinks! Highly recommend this vegan place and we will definitely come backVegetarian options: Vegan RestaurantDietary restrictions: Good Vegan and vegetarian place

I enjoyed this place. It's completely vegan but the food was yummy! I had the Malaysian Noodles with mini fried spring rolls. I didn't miss the meat at all. The one thing I wasn't fond of were the vegetables were cut large in my dry noodle dish and I would have preferred them in smaller pieces so that I can pick up with the noodles. Overall, I will return. I also enjoyed the Taro Boba. The ambiance is chill. The service was great. The restaurant was not crowded for a weekday dinner. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with a lot of parking available. I was able to bring my service animal while enjoying my meal.
