Overall poor experience at this Hobees. The staff were rude and looked annoyed doing the bare minimum (ie getting our waters when sitting down) and the tables and interior looks/feels grimey.
If you have a choice, I would go to the Palo Alto location instead.

The menu and service are great but the food quality doesn't match the costs. An omelette, coffee, and side of bacon is $30. Even in Mountain View that seems like a lot. Next time I'll probably try the Denny's next door just to compare.
Hobee's is not permanently closed. It's open for me even though Google said it was permanently closed. Don't listen to what it says on the map unless it says it's open and delicious! A vegan friendly! Vegetarian friendly! And a whole bunch of deliciousness all rolled into one restaurant! A wonderful atmosphere. Good service. Great. People couldn't ask for more!
Our go to restaurant for breakfast. Their 1 smoothie is equal to 2 big glasses. We always for el camino omlet or south of the border omlet, with a side of wheat toast and avocado. A very heavy and yummy meal.

Out-of-towner here for a conference and stumbled upon Hobee's. Couldn't be happier with the quality of the food. I got the eggs Benedict and they were perfect. I highly recommend Gigi's Benedict. And the blueberry coffee cake IS TO DIE FOR!
I've come back 3 times this week alone. The quality of the food is good, prices are reasonable, and the coffee was flowing. Can't wait to come back for the next conference and eat here.

Fast food, good portions, friendly workers, and tasty coffee cake. Really, best breakfast place to go especially considering prices can be pricy in the bay area. I got the Omlete with black beans, pico de gallo, and hashbrowns. The green salsa bottle on the table made it taste even better. Orange juice was good and fresh. The coffee cake piece they gave us was surprisingly really good. It was warm, soft, and blueberries inside where sweet. Definently come here instead of the overpriced places in downtown areas or even Dennys. Here the prices are cheap, we waited a few minutes for our food to come out, and it was enough to fill our bellies. Spent like $44 for 2 people with drinks. They close at 3 so it can get crowded. Definenly going back next time I visit the city.
