The ramen is not authentically Japanese and it would be better not to brand it as such. It's a Chinese restaurant. It's ok for what it is but avoid disappointment if you came here hoping for Japanese style ramen.

The star of the show, undoubtedly, was the ramen. Homi Japanese Ramen showcased a menu that skillfully highlighted the diversity of this iconic Japanese dish. From the moment the steaming bowl arrived at my table, the aroma alone hinted at the rich depth of flavors to come. The noodles, cooked to perfection, had an ideal texture that complemented the savory broth.Speaking of the broth, Homi Japanese Ramen demonstrated an unwavering commitment to authenticity. The ramen broth was a symphony of well-balanced flavors, whether it was the rich umami of the miso-based ramen or the subtle complexity of the shoyu broth. Each spoonful was a delightful journey through the nuanced tastes that define traditional Japanese ramen.

An amazing authentic Ramen place. The Ramen itself was absolutely delicious and the stuff very friendly. They give you a warm welcome with a tea.

Ordered the mushroom and shrimp rice combo, it was really flavorful and the complementary soup and veggies were a nice side dish for variety. Also got the shrimp tempura ramen which was alright, the soup was bland and the noodles to topping ratio was disappointing, but the tempura was good.Service and atmosphere were fine, no problems there.

Don't expect Japanese ramen despite the name of the restaurant. Got the shrimp tempura ramen- Tempura isn't bad, but the breading isn't exactly panko. The ramen soup and noodles tastes more like Chinese due to the thinner and lighter broth. Having that said, it's not bad.The mushroom shrimp rice combo was delicious. The sauce they used to marinate was flavorful yet not overpowering. Came with a bowl of butter sauteed cabbage and a large bowl of clear broth soup. Would come back for the rice dish.

This is primarily a Cantonese/Chinese restaurant instead of Japanese ramen as indicated by the name. It's one of the best hole in a wall place to get authentic Cantonese steamed dishes and clay pot dishes at a nice price. Remind me of the good old days in Hong Kong. Will definitely come back again.

Entered without being greeted to "irashai mase!" A classic and authentic greeting in Japanese restaurants. Instead we were quickly rushed to a seat, given hot tea without asking for it (and when I mentioned my wife is pregnant the waitress, Chinese, said "oh I don't know anything about the tea."When I tried to order the first time she hurried off without a care in the world and when I finally kept her attention and ordered, she was very fast and not personable at all. There was no "hello, how are you?" Or even a greeting of any kind. When we received our "authentic ramen" it turned out to be far from it. My wife, from Osaka Japan, even commented on this.Cucumbers and tomatoes in a vegetarian Ramen?I was also confused. Even the mushrooms weren't authentic.I had ordered vegetarian miso Ramen with tofu, to which they blasted my Ramen bowl with an assortment of random vegetables without a care (see image)My wife ordered the chefs special, which was mixed meat and seafood. And her Ramen had no flavor to it, wasn't hot at all, and the meat wasn't goodIf this was advertised as a chinese cuisine, or an Asian cuisine with different dishes, including Ramen, and not framed as "authentic Japanese ramen" I would have given it 3 stars. I only gave 2 because the meal was somewhat palpable, delivered quick, and somewhat cozy environment.

Stellar and authentic Chinese and Japanese food for reasonable price, highly recommend the salt and pepper pork chops as well as the Chinese tonic soups. Not a single dish I’ve ordered has been a miss.
