I come once a week for the past year, and I always get the chicken kabob with an extra skewer. The rich and the chicken is always made perfectly and they offer a side of bread. The 2 employees managing the place are always great see. I fully recommend for large cater ordering.

The koobideh was tender and melt in your mouth.
Best times to visit is early Saturday and the guy who grills the meat will customize how you want it prepared.

Clean and tidy environment.

Friendly staff.

Delicious food they serve. Well marinated chicken and mouth watering juicy well cooked kabobs served with rice and grilled veggies were a real treat.

Recommended to try this little cozy persian food restaurant.

Extremely Poor Customer Service and Food Quality

I went to Esfahani Kabob in Sunnyvale for lunch since it’s within walking distance from my workplace. I ordered a skewer of koobideh, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, both in terms of food quality and customer service.

First of all, the koobideh I received was not fresh at all and was barely edible. Typically, koobideh is served with some basil, onion, or other greens, along with salt, pepper, and most importantly, sumac. However, none of these were provided. The person behind the counter didn’t seem to know even the basics of proper food service.

Secondly, the customer service was absolutely unprofessional. The woman handling my order was incredibly rude. It was obvious that if you tipped well, she would treat you nicely, but if not, her attitude would change completely. This is unacceptable in any restaurant.

Since I was on my lunch break, I just wanted a quick and simple meal. When my order was ready, I asked for some bread, as koobideh is usually served with it (since it doesn’t come with rice). She looked at me with surprise and said, “We don’t give bread for just one skewer.” That made no sense at all.

In the end, after some back and forth, she angrily gave me a tiny piece of bread, barely the size of my palm. When I asked for a slightly larger piece, her attitude became even worse, and she acted in a very disrespectful manner.

This is not the first time this woman has behaved this way. Every time I come here, she looks at customers differently based on how much they tip. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

I was extremely unhappy with my experience and will not be returning. I hope the management takes this issue seriously.

One of the best lamb shanks I've ever had, but also one of the worst Isfahani Beryooni I've ever tried. I wouldn’t recommend this place for Beryooni, but the lamb shank is definitely worth it!
