I've been going here for Afghan food about 20 years, the taste and quality has always been exceptional, not to mention the value. Highly recommended.
The restaurant was not very busy on a Thursday evening. We ordered the chef's platter, vegetarian platter, Lawand and kabab-e-murgh. Highly recommend the kabab-e-murgh and Lawand. We also ordered the Firnee and Kabul ice cream both of which were amazing. All their dishes Flavors were subtle and not overpowering with all the dishes we ordered. Portion sizes are generous.
Parking was a little tricky to find but there is free parking in the structure across the street.
Will visit again when I'm back in Bay Area.
It's my favorite restaurant always excellent service and great food if you're looking for an evening or have guests you are in the correct place
I had a fantastic experience at Kabul Afghan Cuisine! The food was incredibly flavorful — perfectly seasoned, tender meats, and delicious rice that was aromatic and fluffy. Each dish felt authentic and fresh, clearly made with care. On top of that, the customer service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving rich Afghan flavors in a warm and inviting atmosphere!
My favorite restaurant The food was plentiful and delicious Good service Screaming child was a negative
Kabul has delicious food, a lovely physical space, and excellent skilled and friendly service. It is also absolutely consistent in its quality.
I know this place for almost 12 years and they are consistent in great taste of food, quality service and overall pleasant environment. Thank you so much for serving Bay Area with great food and being a staple in Sunnyvale.

We got EXCEPTIONAL service, I had a little brother who was super loud and the staff were very calm and playful with him. Also the atmosphere is really good, it is located about 3 stories up so we got good views of the surrounding area. The food was also great having very good taste and the chopli kebab was nice and spicy and the kabuli palou’s lamb IMPOSSIBLY tender and we got our food fast, 100/10. 100% recommend?
Parking: Nearby in a big parking lot
Kid-friendliness: They were super friendly and it might sound WEIRD but it is in there tradition to kiss others. they were also very playful and welcoming even when you could hear him probably next door?

My first time having Afghani food and it was delicious! I don’t have much to compare to, but I really enjoyed the appetizer sampler, and the meat was cooked perfectly.

All ordered different temperatures steaks. Yet they all came out the same, medium well. There is no need to return.

I've been treating myself to their yummy Lamb-Kabobs for over 30 years now; this is now the only non-pizza place get take-out from when I want to eat at home. The lamb is always perfectly cooked to medium-rare and deliciously seasoned, the servers are awesome, the wine list is good and reasonably priced. What more can I say!

We've loved eating at Kabul for decades. The battered eggplant appetizer is our favorite.
