We have been sick and gotten take out from this place twice in two days. I have been trying to find a good porridge place near us and I think I have found it! We got the minced beef porridge twice - flavorful, a lot of beef, and I love that they put slices of ginger. (We been to some other placed and the porridge has been bland) Singaporean noodles - I didn't have any since my throat hurt. My husband said this was done very well. Wet egg with beef over rice - A lot of toppings and also well flavored Love that it is close by and open all day long.

Enjoyed everything we ordered. Our favorites were the beef chow mein, chicken fried rice and garlic green beans.

We went to this restaurant on a whim. But we will definitely be going back regularly. Portion sizes were great for the price. Fast and friendly service. And the food tasted amazing. We had the combination fried rice and Szechuan chicken. Both were really flavorful and were delicious! We will definitely be going there again!

I love this Chinese restaurant! I came here with my family for dinner last week and we had a great time. I loved each dish that we ordered from their tasty honey walnut shrimp, crisp beef and veggie dish, perfectly made fried rice and chow mein, and hot wonton soup. The food is served at a quick time but still cooked perfectly. Each dish was seasoned well and had no issues. The service here is quick and straight to the point. This is a family style restaurant where you sit in a round table with a lazy Susan on top. The price point is decent too and isn't too expensive. This place is so good, I'd even have food catered from here. I will definitely be back for more!

Nice local cozy Cantonese restaurant. As good as it gets for a Chinese restaurant in the Sunnyvale area.

When I went there to buy food, they served me hard, overcooked, pork, sweet-and-sour pork to be exact and I just got done telling him the week before the last time I ate there is the reason why I eat at that particular restaurant is because they didn’t serve old food. Well, they did at the very next time. .They served me dried up food and I’m pissed about it.

Just ordered a lunch plate to go of #3 Sweet & Sour with FRIED rice is what the menu has printed. Received STEAMED rice...kinda bummed. I called back to tell them i am not happy. I wanted fried rice as is printed on menu. She said "I have options of either fried or steamed and to specify next time!" So don't believe the actual menu. Lame. Where has customer service gone? I tried also the egg rolls - Where is the meat? so so. As well as Beef Chow Fun....yum.

Food is very americanized. Garlick chicken is basically an option from KFC. Extremely slow service.

My parents started going here 25 years ago when they first started dating. Now, I am 21 years old and I live in Seattle, but we still make a point of making the trip out to Sunnyvale everytime we visit because of its continued amazing service and amazing food, and we always tell our friends to eat there if they are in town. Our favorite dish is the Beef Chow Mein (Hong Kong Style) and we always order one whole dish for every person in our group. I am sure it is supposed to be split between multiple people but it is just so good! And we don't come to California so often so it's a special treat. King Wah Chinese Restaurant has a special place in my heart (and in my stomach) thank you for the great time and great memories

Food was a bit disappointing. Would serve the restaurant to have better descriptions or photos of the dishes. For instance, I ordered the Princess Chicken, described only as "deep fried, hot". I expected a crispy skin chicken. Instead it was some pretty chewy chicken pieces deep fried in batter and covered in sticky sauce. The beef chow mein had undercooked beef and only one vegetable. Turns out Hong Kong style means crispy noodles (raw?) sitting in sauce. Garlic bok choy was good.
