I am new to the Bay Area and have been slowly looking for more staple coffee places to add to my list. This is one of them! Kona Island Coffee has a variety of different drink options, catering to a wide range of palettes. My personal favorite is the hilo latte (pictured on the right) which combines slightly sweet ube and coconut with espresso and milk to make the perfect drink that is not overly sweet. Pro tip: make sure to check the truck schedule on their website! They have two trailers now :)

Hours and location are incorrect. Here at 12:30pm on a Wednesday and they're closed at Fremont/Sunnyvale-Saratoga.Website says Sundays only? Seems like they need to make their Google Maps info more honest... wasted half my lunch break coming here.

Stopped by Kona Island Coffee on Sunday in Fremont ave location. They come to Sunnyvale only on this day, other days they will somewhere in Santa Clara. I took their Fancy latte, which is an oat latte, with roasted marshmellow and lavender flavor. There was no wait, as it was at the closing time. They seem to have crepe's too, have to try it next time.

I go to this coffee shop often after school and it is always a good pick me up. So far I have been an enjoyer of the matcha latte and the creme brûlée latte. The staff are always very nice and helpful. I have yet to try the crepes as they are a bit out of my budget but overall a really nice coffee shop!

Relatively new truck in a lot with other tasty places to try. Excellent island inspired crepes and lattes! Always seems to have a line so take advantage if you pass by and see a short line. They are pretty quick.

Cute mom and pop coffee cart! They were very accommodating with helping me order online and when I picked up my order. Great coffee. Parking is also easy at Sunnyvale for now (before they get popular). Come support!
