I am new to the Bay Area and have been slowly looking for more staple coffee places to add to my list. This is one of them! Kona Island Coffee has a variety of different drink options, catering to a wide range of palettes. My personal favorite is the hilo latte (pictured on the right) which combines slightly sweet ube and coconut with espresso and milk to make the perfect drink that is not overly sweet. Stopped by Kona Island Coffee on Sunday in Fremont ave location. They come to Sunnyvale only on this day, other days they will somewhere in Santa Clara. I took their Fancy latte, which is an oat latte, with roasted marshmellow and lavender flavor. There was no wait, as it was at the closing time. They seem to have crepe's too, have to try it next time.
