Only the special vegetable dosa is actually vegan, despite being advertised on these reviews the Channa Batura contains milk powder and is not vegan.
Only 4 stars because they either changed their menu or there is significantly fewer vegan options.
We are regular visitors for the past 20 years. They have maintained the quality over these years. We have watched them grow and add more space. Recently, their menu offerings have increased but the basic Idly, vada, dosa remain great. Service is quick and efficient. Prices are competitive. Definitely the go-to place for south indian food. One thing they can do better is update their sinks and bathroom and also focus on keeping them clean. Often, they stuff the paper dispenser...
They make the best dosa in the bay area 💚 their mysore masala dosa (with potato on the side) is to dieeee for. 🤤 All the other dosas and idly is also good. I really wish they made vegan filter coffee someday 😆
