Amazing restaurant, great food, cooked on charcoal bbq, balanced and fresh flavors.
I was impressed by the Iskander dish which I really recommend!

From outside it did not look that great. But it was spacious and elegant inside.
Food was good with portion size on some items on the lower side. However, the complimentary bread was tasty and very filling.

Food is OK, but the service is very slow even the whole floor is almost empty. Won’t come back another time.

Food quality is average at best, service is terrible though. They acted like they wanted us to leave. We went there Saturday night and there was no one in the restaurant. Atmosphere is OK though, they have a nice outside dining area.

Very rude service from (their main waitress) she was super RUDE and kept giving us bad looks while passing by our table , talks with bad attitude and removed items from our table without a permission or a simple smile ! Bad service for such good food !

If I could give half a star, I absolutely would.
As soon as we sat down, they placed water glasses and a piece of bread along with the menu — clearly trying to make us stay. The waitress, with her wrinkled face and bright blue mascara, didn’t give us even a single minute to look at the menu in peace. She kept coming back over and over, shocked every time we said we needed more time. The prices are extremely overpriced and do not match the terrible service. And if you’re looking for halal food, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all — bottles of alcohol are everywhere: on the walls, the pillars, the tables, literally all around.
This review is for the service only, not the food.

I got the mixed grill and it was honestly perfect — super tasty and cooked just right. The sides were great too. And the tea… amazing! You know it’s the real deal when they serve it in those stacked Turkish tea pots. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

COK GUZEL
This place came out of nowhere, and no offense intended but from the curb It doesn't look like much, but inside it's massive, casually elegant and the menu was fantastic. I do a ton of business in Istanbul and I'm there 5 times a year, I'm always on the hunt for decent Turkish stateside and this might be the best iskander I've had outside of Turkiye itself!

Restaurantji Recommends
Me and my wife were having a date night dinner there. We ordered earlier than closing time (10PM). We were just about to finish our dinner, but the waiter just said we are closed at 10:03PM, and just started to take food from the table. We said yes we are done. But they didn't even have the basic manner to let us leave the table. They even took the desert from the table without even asking. My wife couldn't taste. I am never going to give any more generous tip here. I shouldn't have gave today. I don't have any conplain about food or the restaurant vibe. All were 5 star apart from the service
I had Adana Kabab here it was so good after that I ordered a Turkish Coffee unbelievable test I recommend to everyone one who like coffee try it here . Appreciate the customer service they were awesome 😎

We wanted to try Turkish bbq and noticed this place in Sunnyvale. The indoor area was largely empty on a weekday night but there seemed to be more people sitting on the patio where you would grill your own meats. It’s a good place for a party or special occasions. We picked out the meats from the counter and they grilled them for us as we sat inside. The lahmacun was very delicious. The grilled meats were brought to us on a sizzling hot plate. They were marinated before and very flavorful. The vegetable moussaka (baked zucchini, eggplant, potatoes, and tomatoes with cheese on top) was surprisingly delicious. Our desserts Sutlac (Turkish baked rice pudding) and Künafe, which had layers of shredded kadayif (thin noodle-like pastry) freshly baked with a layer of unsalted cheese in the middle, soaked in sweet syrup and garnished with pistachios, was very tasty. Service was friendly. The price is not cheap but worthy given the quality of the meats. We like this place and will come back again.
