The new skillet meal was delicious! And the coconut cream pie
Delicious chili & cornbread and coconut cream pie! Great service! Clean and well maintained restaurant – in great shape for 50+ year old establishment! Marie Callendar’s was a tradition in our family starting in 1970 in University City, San Diego. We frequented this location in the 1980’s. Wonderful to see these owners carrying on the tradition of high-quality entrees and delicious pies packed full of fruit. The coconut cream pie is still luscious and incredibly chewy being so full of shredded coconut.

It's a big rip-off charging $12 for a slice of peach pie for peaches absolutely not ripe! If you get a discounted burger of the day, where they take $5 off, they take about 50% off the size of the burger, so there's that !!! This place is A giant rip-off. And I find the owner to be Rude on top of it all.I was there two weeks ago and I had a terrible experience . beware of this bad seed restaurant. i put 5 stars because if it was a one star review it wouldn't get seen.I want everyone to see this review !
