Ever since I was a kid I loved this place. My best friend used to work at one in college so we'd go all the time and when I was small my grandma used to take me. Now I take my kids!
Price per slice is high, but that’s like comparing the cost of a soda from the fridge at the register to the 2 liter bottles. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are very casual in a way that feels organic - not forced nor uptight. The pie was immaculate. Rhubarb had a unique tartness to it, and keylime is classic.
I actually really love Marie Callender's.
It reminds me of when I was a little girl , and my mom would take me to that very restaurant in Sunnyvale.
