Excellent Turkish cuisine and fine dining experience in a comfortable atmosphere.
Got the tasting menu during dinner service there. The food was good, but felt a little lacking. For the $90 price point. The lamb chops were amazing! the appetizers and rest of the courses were good, but not great..
Service was excellent though.

š„ Authentic Turkish Flavors and Warm Hospitality
Finding a restaurant that captures the true essence of traditional Mediterranean cuisine can be a challenge, but this location delivers on all fronts. The experience starts with an atmosphere that feels authentic, from the decor to the aromatic spices hitting you the moment you walk through the door. The food is good, showcasing fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques that make every dish stand out. Itās the kind of place that doesn't just serve a meal but provides a genuine cultural experience right in the heart of Murphy Avenue.
š½ļø Family Style Dining at Its Best
The menu is perfectly suited for those who enjoy a communal eating experience.
Shareable Plates: The menu is designed to be family style, which is ideal for trying a wide variety of mezes, dips, and grilled meats. Sharing the large platters of kebabs and fresh bread makes the meal feel social and inclusive.
Portion Sizes: The portions are generous, ensuring that everyone at the table leaves satisfied. The variety of textures and flavorsāfrom the smoky eggplant to the perfectly seasoned lambākept the meal interesting from start to finish.
Traditional Touch: Everything from the presentation of the tea to the way the appetizers are served reflects a deep respect for Turkish dining traditions.
ā” Impressively Fast and Attentive Service
One of the most notable aspects of the visit was how well the restaurant is managed.
Efficiency: Despite being a popular destination, the service is fast. We were impressed by how quickly our orders were taken and how promptly the food arrived at the table without feeling rushed.
Professional Staff: The team is knowledgeable about the menu and provides quick refills and clean plates throughout the family-style service, which is essential when sharing multiple courses.
Consistency: Even during a busy dinner rush, the staff maintained their composure and ensured every table was well-attended to.
šļø Final Thoughts and Recap
To recap, this is a premier choice for anyone in Sunnyvale looking for good food and a meal that feels authentic. The fast service ensures a smooth dining experience, while the family style approach makes it a great venue for groups and celebrations. It is a 5-star experience that balances high-quality culinary standards with a warm, welcoming vibe. Iāll definitely be returning with a larger group to explore more of the menu!

I've had a hard time finding food places with quality ingredients and unique dishes. I went there last night for their valentines day menu and was pleasantly surprised at how great every item we had was! The dishes are uniquely put together and have GREAT flavors. The service was exceptional - everyone was super kind. The atmosphere is nice as well - very cozy. Really happy to have this place around, as I personally feel true exceptional foodie places are hard to find in the area.

Good food, a little pricey. Not classy at all is that they include on your bill suggested tip percentages that are based on the meal price plus taxes.

Lunchtime visit with the Prix Fixe (3 course) menu. Great choices available on that menu, and everything was delicious. A more budget friendly visit than the dinner menu and equally delicious. This was our first visit for lunch (been there for dinner a couple times previously) and will be back as a special occasion, very relaxed meal. Service was excellent and we never felt rushed. We were wanting to take our time and catch up, so lunch for us lasted about 1 1/2 hours at a very leisurely pace. Would be easy to be in-and-out within an hour even with the 3-course menu.
I have been to this restaurant several times including Palo Alto location. The portions of the food were very small this time. The lamp chops were super small and the chilean Seabass ļæ¼was also very small. I was disappointed about that. Hopefully this can be improved.
The food is delicious, octopus perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned. Similar with lamb chops. However, their portions are so small that after the pre fixe lunch I was still hungry. The kanafe dessert was delicious but all the other desserts are so small I can eat them in one bite. The service was so abysmal our waitress had a bad attitude she clearly didnāt want us to be there. When taking the dishes she stacked two plates and couldnāt handle it and ended up dropping a use fork in my hair. There were only 3 tables at lunch and it took at least 20 minutes between courses so we were there for nearly 2 hours.

I came here for the third time. The transformation of the restaurant looks amazing. The service was really great. It was celebration of my birthday so I didn't have to pay so I don't know pricing wise. It looked a little pricier, but I can understand given the cost of everything. Overall, I had a great time

Portions are getting smaller every visit and prices are going up. I used to recommend this place to get good Turkish food but not anymore after today's visit.
Everything we got was absolutely superb!! We each got the prix fixe deal which is an excellent value. Service could not be beat. I've nothing but positive feedback.
Wonderful authentic Turkish food. The ambiance and service are fantastic. The menu may seem a bit daunting but the severs will walk you through it in a meaningful way based on your preferences. They have amazing options for dessert wines, Chateau D'Yquem is recognized as the finest wine in France, by the French, and $50 a pour is a steal, look it up on Wikipedia and read the history, you will appreciate the extraordinary nature of the wine, you're sipping history. It's worth the visit for that just on its own (extremely rare to have an opportunity to try). You will not be disappointed!

A fantastic experience with rich flavors and warm hospitality. Every dish we ordered tasted fresh and true to tradition. This is an easy recommendation for anyone interested in exploring Turkish food. The lamb chop stood out the most and was cooked perfectly. A place worth visiting again.
