Super cool place! Bar staff is awesome and the patrons were all cool! We played trivia there and had a blast. I used to come here allot back on the day so it was nostalgic to be back. Saw a sign for new ownership though and found out it's closing. So sad to see them go!!
This is the only place with live music for miles. It's a tiny, no frills dive bar by most peoples standards, but if you need music, you need music and you've gotta do something about it! It feels like real California--one of the last remaining authentic places on the street. I've been with friends on some Saturday nights & Fridays. I had a Shiner bock beer on tap that was pretty good but not great. I was disappointed that they didn't really have any food, other than chips and similar types of snacks. I was there to see The Groovy Judy band. the sound was too loud in the front and distorted in the back, so I left after the first two sets which were great but I would have liked to stay for the third if it weren't so loud. Judy had a good turnout as usual, so it was fun.
