I recently visited Myzen Ramen in Sunnyvale, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and authentic — cozy, clean, and clearly run by people who care deeply about both the food and the customer experience.
I ordered the Curry Ramen, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The broth was rich and flavorful with just the right balance of spice, and the noodles had a perfect chewy texture. The Kurobuta chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the thoughtful toppings like bamboo shoots, seaweed, and corn added depth and texture to every bite.
The appetizers were just as impressive — especially the Takoyaki and Chicken Kara-Age. Fresh, crispy, and full of flavor.
Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell this team takes pride in what they do, and it really elevates the dining experience.

Lovely casual spot for ramen. Very clean, happy music playing at a nice volume. Very kind and attentive staff. Comfy chairs. DELICIOUS RAMEN. I felt very comfortable here while I enjoyed a delicious bowl of ramen and hummed along to some of my favorite tunes.

The ramen was pretty darned good! Flavorful broth. Good texture noodles. Came with an egg included. Good portion size.
And their chicken karagi may have been even better! Golden dark brown. Crispy and tasty. Really excellent.
Lots of parking. For the area, one of the better restaurants for weekday lunch.

Do Not Eat Here. It's not even about "cheap" or "stale" food material, you will get diarrhea after eating. Meat tastes like in frozen for 5 years. I won't eat here even it's free here. I don't believe this is Japanese restaurant. It's rare you can get such terrible food. No idea where these good ratings come from. Only few people dine-in there, I got it.

A very nice small area, I went in before the lunch rush, I ordered gyoza and their Myzen Ramen, it didn't take too long to receive my order. Gyoza were perfect, and the Myzen ramen was pretty damn great, I definitely want to try out their miso Ramen.
This marks our second visit here! (Our initial visit was approximately six months ago.)
On both occasions, the servers have been consistently friendly and attentive. The food arrives exceptionally quickly, and we always leave satisfied with our meal. The establishment maintains a clean and pleasant atmosphere.
Remarkably, our dining experience was so efficient that we may not have spent more than 30 minutes in the restaurant! (Perhaps we devoured our meals a bit too eagerly!) I'll have to inquire about dessert options during our next visit, although we opted for a sweet treat from the neighboring milk tea spot for our journey home.

First time down in Sunnyvale in quite some time, and I am really glad I stopped in for a visit this weekend. The place has a very pleasant wooden interior, with quite a bit of seating so it is good for groups.Asahi on draft, and I loved the fry on the coconut shrimp. If you like takowasa, make sure you try that too (it was delicious).Will come back the next time I am in the area!

I will start out by disclaimering that I don't like ramen that much. Fortunantly..I do consider this a fine establishment. Today I enjoyed the garlic bowl. All the meats, accompanying item were excellent. The broth was nice and rich. Small warning to those salt sensitive. To me it was good, and revived me. I had a job afterwards. Else I would have tried the drinks.I really enjoyed the experience for this small shop. Everything was in order. Nothing out of place.

Got the curry ramen, was quite nice with a thick broth and slightly chewy noodles. Food aside, I think I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the food, but that's not to say the food was lacking at all. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and going in to eat alone was very pleasant at one of the smaller tables. Visiting during off hours probably helped add to the "hole in the wall" place feeling I got.
