This place is very affordable and the food is delicious. We always like to come here with our friends and sometimes we have to be quick otherwise all tables are full! What I would improve, and I've been thinking about this every time I come here, is definitely the ACOUSTICS! Every time the sound is very lous and you can barely hear the next person talking! Especially when it's full. I would recommend some wall acoustic panels for the TV wall. There are nowadays very modern and affordable solutions for acoustic paneling.

For the past few years I had been looking for an authentic Turkish breakfast in the Bay Area and I think I finally found one. What they lack in aesthetics they fully compensate with their amazing quality of food. Every item of their Nahita Special reminded of my time in Turkey and the unlimited brewed tea was very nostalgic. I’d totally recommend this place for a weekend brunch to anyone who like Mediterranean cuisine.

I could eat Nahita’s food for breakfast every morning and not get tired of it. Everything I’ve had there has been so fresh and good that a week later, I wake up craving it.
Their simit bagels are nutty and light, their honey and kaymak melty and delicious, the borek buttery and flaky, but also dimensional, and the menemen shakshuka has to be the ultimate egg and tomato comfort food. Their ring dessert is just like jalebi, honey soaked and sweet, and the tea is very strong.
The atmosphere is not much - I think it would help if they switched out the lighting - but it’s very busy and full of life on the weekends in a way that feels homey.
Although it’s called a bakery, it’s really full service brunch, so definitely come with an appetite and get some pastries to take home while you’re at it.

A (literally) hidden Turkish gem!
Inside an ice cream and coffee shop, hides the independent Nahita Bakery. If you miss the small sign on the front, you would never guess that inside await most authentic Turkish pastries.
In addition to a selection of fresh traditional Bureks, Simit (Turkish sesame coated bagels), and other pastries, they offer "water Burek", which is a real find!
It's a pastry for which the dough is poached instead of being layered with oil. The jewel of all Bureks.
Don't miss the Turkish tea, served in traditional tea glasses.
The rest of the menu is limited, gearing more toward breakfast/brunch, and hopefully will be expanded in the future.
But just the savory pastries, which can make a filling lunch or a light dinner, are worth the trip to this strip mall in Sunnyvale.
The service is friendly, and the young couple there was full of smiles and happy to answer any question. A very welcoming experience.

Very delicious food. Only the smiling face was missing, maybe because I went early in the morning

OMG, their food is delicious!
I believe this is one of those places which only offers food they do very, very well, so they don't have a large selection. But I've loved everything I've tried. More places should be like this -- why would you prefer a large selection of mediocre food? Here, anything you order will be good!
Okay, there's no ambiance, it's a shop in a strip mall with a couple tables and chairs. The shop itself is hard to find -- there's a row of shops with signs, and a gap between two of the signs -- that's Nahita Bakery, which doesn't have signage. (I didn't ask; I got distracted by the food.) Prices are fair, everything is delicious, and if you want ambiance, get takeout?
Happy I tried Nahita and looking forward to going back!
