More like 3.5 for us but that bread alone is with .5 stars hahaHad the beef stew with bread so I could take home the stew.It was made with riblets that were slow cooked and very tender. The soup was good, can't say it was my favorite, but I would consider eating it again if I were there. The bread. Can we talk about this bread? My goodness the bread was fantastic. I bet someone here knows where they get it. Imo ALL Bahn Mi should be served with this bread. It had a super thin, but crisp crust all around, very crisp but thin. This is the kind of bread that delivers the crisp without slicing up your mouth like bait. The inside was fluffy and soft...superb.The Bun Cha Giao Thit Nuoung (noodles with BBQ pork and imperial rolls) came with a fair amount of meaty and tender pork, flash grilling it would really elevate the flavor because it has good flavor. The sauce could use a little more fish sauce. The purple drink is a taro drink made in house. It tastes ok but the taro which settles at the bottom is very gritty. I think they should make it into a paste before using it in a drink. Like the taro paste you get at Bambu or what is served in Vietnamese desserts.

After recovering from a gnarly flu, this truly satisfied every craving. The broth was super rich in flavor and beefy. I was impressed with the modern, clean environment. I will say the wait was quite longer than most pho places I have been to. However, the wait was worth it and I definitely had leftovers.

I stumbled upon PhoEver while looking to grab some coffee nearby, after a group of us had hung out at Tipsy Putt, all within walking distance of each other. This Vietnamese restaurant is surrounded by apartment buildings on all sides, which is connected to a greater set of living and shopping in downtown Sunnyvale. The wait on this Saturday night was not bad and the size of this place is on the smaller side. I had to order their Bun Bo Hue as I do whenever it is available wherever I go. I was impressed with the authenticity and flavor of their spicy beef broth. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at this Sunnyvale restaurant's BBH. Of note, they have small paper forms at each table and small pencils where you can build out a custom bowl of Pho for yourself. I would like to try this out next time. Service was good and when I'm in the area again, PhoEver would be on my list to try more of their menu out.

I ordered the Banh Mi (chicken) & Shrimp Spring rolls and they were actually very fresh, currently I placed another order at this location but I got the pork patties spring rolls and of course the Banh Mi again . The place is nice and quite with TVs inside just in case lol, the service here was very friendly when I came to pick up the order Definitely would recommend this spot

Dropped in for lunch today with my son. I've lived in Sunnyvale for a few years but this was my first time eating here. Sunnyvale was hopping with the lunchtime crowd, but we were quickly seated at our table. Space was clean, bright, and inviting. A playful touch with the planters on each table. The service was quick and efficient. We each ordered the chicken pho, along with Thai milk tea and fresh squeezed lemonade. The drinks came out quickly followed by healthy portions of pho. The broth was delicious, voted best ever by my son. The chicken was clean and tasty, definitely a step up from most places. Everything tasted fresh and left me wondering why I haven't been here before! Well I enjoyed the fresh noodles, my son said he preferred the thin ones. We both thought that the chicken chunks should be chopped one more time each as they were pretty big bites, and left the perception that there was not a lot of chicken in the bowl. Yes, we could have bitten the chicken in half and dropped the other half in the bowl, but as I said it was pretty delicious and that process was a bit too messy for either of us.

Cute place with decent vegetarian options.Tried Tofu/Vegetarian Roll (4 pieces) and they tasted pretty good. Wish they could added more veggies though. Peanut Sauce was amazing! Also, the chili paste on the side was very fresh and tasted good. It’s honestly very expensive for the quantity they offered though :/Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options..

I started eating here two years ago. This restaurant was my favorite in Pho.Now I feel like I have regressed? The meat was delivered well-cooked and very tough. Not only has the price increased, but there isn’t much meat in a whole bowl. It’s miserable.

The broth, service, and everything was good. Looks hipster at a glance, but the vibe is super Vietnamese. A little bit on the pricier side but the pho is definitely good. I would come back for the broth.

Every time I come to Sunnyvale, I go to PhoEver, and it's always a good experience -- wonderful pho and cheerful service in a clean and bright atmosphere. My favorite is the Pho Ga (chicken) but my husband has had the traditional pho, and we both happily slurp down our delicious soups. PhoEver doesn't stint on condiments like some pho places -- loads of Thai basil, jalapenos, lime, bean sprouts, the works. Just overall a pleasant and satisfying spot for a yummy lunch.

Quality pho with that hearty dino beef rib in the middle. Flavorful broth with a nice sodium balance. Service was fast and the restaurant itself felt like a step up from your average pho place. Just wish they give out more bean sprouts

It was really busy last night, and the service was still on point! I've been to places where it's busy, and they take forever to serve, not here!! Love this place!!!
