overpriced and unfresh sweets. we got some jalebis for iftar while in the area and should have walked out after going inside, but still grabbed a box. looks like they use excessive food coloring and sell old food items, would not recommend to anyone. jalebi is not suppose to taste sour!

To give another shot, I went in for some paratha to go. Lady at the counter was nice new person.. not the old, rude miserable woman. After paying without receipt, waited good 15+ min. Got the paratha without condiments. Upon asking, lady threw a premade small container of pickle and onion. And as I was about to leave, she asked me to pay!! I had to tell her I paid after ordering. Oh well. Food was ok.—————————————-Not sure why people give this place good rating. Mostly due to prices perhaps. However, Kinda hateful women who work here. Acts as if they’re doing us a favor. We are paying full asking price and this “no nonsense “ attitude is disgusting. Better places are nearby with pleasant atmosphere. On top of that, food isn't that of decent quality.Previously this place had serious issues with health department certificate they stick it on the front door.

Always good veg food and generous service. This owners family and team have worked hard for many years. They have made sure, everyone can afford to buy a meal or get a catered order too.

Parantha is awesome tasting. It has less oil so feels healthy and it is extremely filling for one person . It’s very authentic ( especially enjoy it with their home made yogurt )

The food is good. But the lady helping ( guessing she is the owner) is very rude.Samosa chat, aloo tikki chat and bhel puri were great. Dhani bhalla chat was pretty average. The curries taste great but sit on heat the whole day, so the chicken in the curries turns hard and rubbery by the end of the day.Great prices thought.

Best saag. Chicken curry and butter chicken are my next favorites. Aloo paratha and samosa are really good too. Great value for money.

Rajjot is a hole in the wall Indian food place in Sunnyvale that serves home style cooked food. Not a sit down restaurant if you are looking for one, although it does have a couple of tables and chairs. Curries are already cooked and are on display- made daily. You can order rotis, parathas, chaat items as well. They also have Indian sweets. Their kala jamun is yum. You order and pay and the counter. They have both non vegetarian and vegetarian curries. Their parathas are pretty good. Also the saag is my favorite

never been to this store before, but last week, a coworker brought in some treats from this place. the samosas were delicious...fresh out of the kitchen with a nice crispy, flaky outside and soft, warm inside. the gulab jamun, kaju katli, and various barfis were delicious as well. i'll update my review once i actually visit this place and can then comment on their prices, service, ambiance, and cleanliness. :)

A Mom and Pop hole in the wall, dirty restaurant (check the list of food violations). Lackluster service from the front, as others have said. Non-smiling, stoic looks when you order from the older lady. Every time I come here, they always look tired and grouchy! They did not offer me a receipt either, which is okay, I can do the math in my head. The good- I come for the food. Butter chicken, paneer, and saag are my favorites. Indian sweets are too sweet for my taste buds. Other dishes were okay. Chili chicken is good too but go for the butter chicken. I have not tried the tandoori chicken, that is next on my list. Always an adventure to point and pick dishes that I cannot pronounce. Not a fan of the naan the last time we ordered. It was not homemade. The entire restaurant could use a good cleaning. The least they can do is wipe the water dispenser down from dirty marks and set out utensils in a more sanitary station- they just throw forks and spoons on a pizza tray. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day here!

All the stars are mostly for the saag. It's just creamy saag without any paneer and I don't know what sorcery it is that it tastes so good but my extended family has been coming here for decades now for that saag. The parathas are large, thin, well cooked and perfect to accompany the saag. I've ordered the aloo and gobi parathas to go but they don't taste as good once they get home and get cool. I As many others have said the place looks grimy and the lady behind the counter will never smile at you. So in a way it's like being in a hole in the wall restaurant in India and gives me a sense of nostalgia. I'll just keep coming back for saag pickups.

The only thing of attraction is their price. Otherwise, place is not clean at all, very rude staff.food quality is bad.Not recommended at all.with the same price, you can go to chaat house, other side of wolfe. That place is clean and food quality is also good.

The roti is really soft and twice the size. The ambience could be a little better.

Quality has become worse and food is not fresh at all. We ordered cholle bhature and pratha, they were very oily and the bhature sour was not fresh and prathas have no filing but just thick
