The salmon meshi was so good - nice smokey flavor, appropriately fatty part of salmon, high quality salmon roe that accompanied the fish and the pickles on the side gave a nice balance to the dish. We had the salmon meshi set and the sashimi set, and it was a lot of food in the best way possible; it’s not every day you come to a Japanese restaurant in the US and don’t feel ripped off. Surprisingly delicious and high-quality! I highly recommend trying the Hamachi Jalapeño Carpaccio — it’s truly tasty. All the other dishes, except for the tuna sashimi/nigiri, are excellent as well.
