I recently ordered the chicken platter combo from Shah Halal Food and it was a great experience. The tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful, and had that authentic smoky taste that makes tandoori dishes so good. The rice was fresh and nicely seasoned, and the garlic naan was soft, warm, and paired really well with the chicken.
The portion size was generous and the whole meal felt satisfying and well prepared. If you enjoy flavorful halal food and authentic tandoori-style chicken, this combo is definitely worth trying. I would happily order it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious halal meal.

Our friends absolutely love Shah Restaurant and have been wanting us to try it for a while, so we finally went together. It's a small, no-frills place with a very basic setup--but honestly, the food is what truly matters here.
We ordered chicken seekh kabab, chicken tandoori, chicken kadhai, along with garlic naan and butter rotis.
The chicken seekh kababs were juicy, but they had a very strong and slightly off-putting turmeric flavor. It felt like there was a bit too much turmeric, which overpowered the other spices and slightly ruined the overall taste for me.
However, the chicken tandoori completely made up for it. It was juicy, spicy, and perfectly charred--exactly how a good tandoori should be.
The highlight for me was the chicken kadhai. Usually, I find chicken kadhai to be too tomato-heavy and overly tangy for my liking, but this one was perfectly balanced. The flavors were rich without being overpowering, and paired with the soft garlic naan and fresh tandoori roti, it was an absolute delight.
Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Despite the simple ambience, the quality of the food shines through. We'll definitely be going back to try more dishes from the menu.

My brother ordered last night kebab roll and beef nihari. and chicken tikka masala. The kebab roll. The beef kebab was completely burned and dry. And two spicy. You’re just have a taste of spice. And chicken tikka masala it was to sour And nihari the sauce was too thick and meat was not tender at all and have a big chunk of fat feel like nobody clean it before the cook I just got taste of spices you guys can do better than that I hate to give bad reviews, but I’m really disappointed hope you guys can improve your quality and standard I spent $88 but the food taste like one store restaurant

Ordered Salmon Tikka twice. The first time it was good, but the second time it was a disappointment. The first picture is from the recent order, and the second picture is from the leftover.
The level of inconsistency is disappointing. Last time here.

Amazing food, good quantity and one of the few good places that is open till late. I keep coming back here consistently, after having tried multiple other places. One of my favorites.
Love the garlic naan and tandoori roti (great texture and flavor) with Achari murgh. The tandoori chicken breast is the best one I have had so far.
They offer complimentary chai which is also very good (light spices with no sugar) Love that it has no sugar added to it already.

One of the go to Sunnyvale restaurant for me for consistent quality, quantity and friendly atmosphere. I had take outs and dine in several times. My all time favorites, chicken leg quarters, aachari murgh/chicken, naan, chicken seekh and chicken karahi. More of self service style to place the order at counter and they deliver food to the table. It’s not great ambience but decent enough to take your family. I highly recommend dine in for first time. Parking can be challenging on weekends but try to find it towards Dominos side.

Good takeout experience. One chicken sheeh kabab and one chicken tandoori breast. Made fresh. Good portion size. The soda is a bit expensive at $2 a can and $4.50 a glass bottle, but it is nice and cold.

An absolute gem in the Bay Area. The grilled items are one of the best I’ve had. Biryani is good too. The prices are very affordable. 100% recommend

Best Indian Food in the Bay Area. I recommend you order all the different variations of naan bread along with chicken tikka masala, lamb curry with peas, Chana masala and Lamb Biriyani. As you eat sip on a mango lassi, and when you’re finished with your meal, have a baklava with some complementary chai.
I told the chef last time I was there if there was ever a last meal this is it.

This a place to come if you like spicy IndoPac food. I love almost everything on the menue but I always order the tandory chicken. The others are how I feel that day whether it briani or a curry. With curries I get a naan and if I'm feeling the garlic naan.

What really sets this restaurant apart is its late-night availability — a true gem for night owls and those late dinner plans. Also this is a Halal place, so good for whoever prefers that. While the food is generally decent and satisfies the craving, it may not be the most memorable culinary experience. The ambience leans towards the functional side — nothing too fancy, but it does the job if you're looking for a casual, no-frills place to unwind. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for a late meal, especially when most other options are closed.
