Had a good lunch at Siam Taste the other day. I don’t recall if there was a lunch special menu but the two of us ended up getting three dishes ala carte.
Spring rolls with shrimp as appetizers. Man these were plump and big! Comes with six pieces and dipping sauce. Pretty good, especially if you like fresh mint leaves flavor.
Next dish was Penang curry I believe. Or some kind of curry anyway. Tasty sauce but could have used a bit more chicken. Also a little thick for me. And it wasn’t served hot enough (temperature, not spice).
Final dish was broccoli and beef. This was a unique one for me as I’m used to the Chinese version and this definitely had a different type of sauce/flavor. Again very thick sauce and was kind of lukewarm temperature.
The service was good. The place was old but clean. Pleasant. They service food on nice dishware. Three dishes plus tax and tip was pretty expensive over $70 for a weekday lunch with only water to drink. This kind of drove my star rating.

Expensive for the taste. Basil fried rice didn't seem fresh. Drunken noodles were delicious. Mango sticky fried rice was decent, not great.

Tom kha had a very little veggies. Noodles were okay. Overall food tasted okay. Not as great as in some other places though. Vegetarian options without eggs are available.

Delicious food and excellent service! This is easily one of the best Thai restaurants in Sunnyvale.
We ordered the Thai Massaman curry and Yellow Curry Fried Rice—both were packed with rich, authentic flavors. The Massaman curry, in particular, had a beautifully balanced flavor profile that was absolutely perfect. Loved every bite!
The service was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better.

The best mango sticky rice 😁. A lil pricy but it's delicious 😋
I rarely write low reviews but the staff member working here today was incredibly rude and unfriendly. My coworkers and I wanted to support this restaurant and local business—it looks family run and the food looks tasty. But we will never return.

Super rude man at the pickup
Who knows, maybe I wouldn't call ramataja with beef the best dish on earth I know. The interior of the place is far from being a slam, but in the spring season this is not a problem, because the tables on Murphy Ave ensure you are a fraction of the bucolic atmosphere of this boardwalk. Broccoli with beef, topped with an amazing sauce and peanuts, arrive on the table and the whole world becomes happier. It's worth coming here to eat this one dish and feel a surge of energy like after filling your tank with high-octane gasoline.
