Super yummy chicken. I got the two taco meal with Korean sauce super yummy. My husband ordered a salad which was huge and also delicious.

What’s the word...it’s STARBIRD! I happened upon this eatery while traversing the El Camino in Sunnyvale,CA. and was lucky enough to have a co-worker take me there for lunch, making the experience that much better! Off street parking is available but one might find it “tight” due to the configuration of the parking lot. With that said, Starbird Chicken has a trendy look, even though during COVID-19 indoor dining is not available. The Menu is posted outside on a Menu Board and the order is taken and paid for from behind a plexiglass set-up which seems to satisfy the the requirements of these times. Jose took our order and was friendly, professional and quite helpful in making sure we had all the accoutrements required to make our dining experience the very best it could be. Kudos and many thanks Jose for your excellent Customer Service. Our order consisted of a 4 Piece Korean Glazed Tenders w/Spicy Seoul Sauce, Sriracha Buffalo Sauce and Greek Yogurt Ranch (5/5...freakin YUMMY) w/two Sides of Super Slaw (5/5) and a Starbird Sandwich (4/5). The Chicken was moist and tender and had a coating that gave an appealing “crunch”...which was a very satisfying surprise and aside from the actual chicken, the sauces were outstanding! No comparison to be made to other Chicken Eateries here...just takin’ it for the dining experience it was. The meal was really fabulous, something that warrants a definite repeat visit. All in all, in this Reviewer’s opinion...on this occasion with the great customer service (given by Jose), and the tasty food...Starbird Chicken in Sunnyvale, truly earned this “highly recommend” 5 Point review!

First time at Starbird. I had the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, my wife had the grilled chicken salad, and our son had a two taco meal. My sandwich was freshly made but I found it lacking in flavor. Nice and crunchy, but the gochujiang sauce was just meh. I had to add mustard and hot sauce to give it more punch. The bread for sandwiches is a fluffy white soft roll that makes the sandwich easy to bite into but has neither flavor nor nutritional value. Good service, small parking lot on premises.

Middle of the road chicken joint not crazy about the bread they use for their fried chicken sandwiches not really crazy about their Fried Chicken. I'm a bit of a fried chicken snob and this seems to be a little bit below my level of standards. Not sure I will be back..
